    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I totaly agree she should have paid. No arguement there. It was going to far to im her or whatever, whoever that was that wasn't Harold. We are just bistandards and thats the polite way I at least think it should be. It just kind of reminded me of a Witch hunt. Sorry. Rick you are right. Whats up with the whacky colors Rick? I heck I stated blame everyone but the "victim". When it should have been culprit. I'm sure everyone figured out. I'll blame it on the pain killers and not take responsibility for typing so fast. Because it is everybody's fault but the responsible party as some would like us to believe.

Alicia, there was one post - from a "customer in good standing" - that stated he (or she, I don't recall, and didn't bother to go back to check before starting this) PMd Sara and asked why she hadn't addressed this thread. Your conversation with Sara took place long before I had commented to anybody about this deal. Out of consideration for Sara, I held my tongue until I had totally lost patience - which was after it was evident that I had been lied to for the third time.
There was no witch hunt here, in fact, I think that everyone was pretty self controlled. The person that contacted Sara did so in her best interest - because her absence from this thread, when she clearly knew of its existance, was definitely hurting her image/reputation.

Wow, I bet you also believe Chris of TSE was confused and he is at this moment trying to figure out how he can repay everyone. Or maybe CRE is really believed they are selling hets and not fakes? The fact of the matter is she took advantage of two people that were being helpful, kind etc... She had plenty of warning and time to let them know things had changed and she didn't have the money. She tried to avoid the issue and lied several times. Give me a break at what point do you stop letting blind faith lead you? Webslaves name is Rich.
 
Kristin, I really have a hard time believing you are truly this naive. When we grow up and become an adult, we have to act like one, and Sara has not. No matter how embarrassed you are, a responsible adult takes responsibility for their actions, and Sara has not. A responsible adult does not buy more and more animals, or breed more animals, when they cannot even afford to pay their rent. How many times did Sara lecture "newbie" people about NOT breeding their Beardies, because it was very expensive to raise the babies? And yet she was doing it, when she couldn't afford to. She was talking out of both sides of her mouth, and those who believed in her got hurt, even though most didn't lose money for it.

In my eyes, a person who scams someone they don't know from Adam is scum. But to take money from and lie outright to someone who you know, and who trusted you, is ten times worse.

Ethics vs. Excuses

What is saddens me is how everyone involved is impacted:

For some folks they lose their faith in others… for those that are thinking this way, please remember that there are good people who will need your help someday; please don’t stop listening to your hearts.

The two people who did a kindness & didn't deserve to be lied to- it’s a risk we all take when we help someone… please remember you were right to help it was Sara that acted badly.

Lastly Sara, you lose out the most here by far. You’ve substituted excuses for ethics & that never works. You've placed a price tag on your most valuable assets; your honesty & integrity!

Hiding from this is a larger part of why you are in this situation to begin with. You've been pretending things are okay; shopping when you should be saving & here you are... denial to yourself has now spilled over onto others.

Time to face the truth, own your mistakes & make it right; starting with these two nice folks. But don't stop there, time to face your demons & learn to be honest with yourself.

The easiest excuse to tell yourself is that, "The harm is already done" running away will not fix this, time to fight to regain your self-respect. Excuses are the lies we tell ourselves so that we avoid making needed changes. Fact is you can change this, become a better person & make things right. If not this will continue to take its toll. You are letting this situation keep you from being the person you are meant to be. Stop!

Make this right. No it's not easy, but you can do it & it's necessary that you do so.

Sounds like something from the Witch days, eh? I was just talking about manners and Ethics. Let me put my opinion BACK into proper context. She is a bad "guy." Sarah definitely owes you the money. Shrap and Harald that was very nice of you and I am sorry you got screwed. To everybody else calm freakin down. The verbal insults on an opinion are ridiculous. Release your war club from my head. This is what I am talking about! Nobody's nice anymore. For a functional "family" group or whatever you could care less what you say to people and how it makes them feel.

I believe you still have free choice in how you feel about what is said and done. Since such is true, it is on you to decide what you feel, not those who make statements that to them may not be rude at all.

If you can't take the heat, get the hell out of the kitchen. No one has demanded your presence here, you came in all by your lonesome, totally uninvited, and started demanding that people act as you think they should.

There's the door. Either hit the road or quit your bitchin. Last I checked, you weren't in charge of anything here.

While your opinion is of value, it does not have to be of value to anyone but yourself and even then, you have to decide if it is.

How many freakin times do I have to say it! I agree! I agree with this thread, so your in my face for nothing. I can withstand a lot more then the heat, a lot more then the fire. I can withstand Hell. Any questions? Uninvited???? Last I checked if you are a member of this Forum you are "invited." You are just really rude, and obnoxious and people handle things wrong. Thats what I'm saying. I guess I am still out for throats after the Piccolo thread. A thread with no advice and no support. You guys do it all the time. Very shady. I don't quote what you say so stop tearing down what I say looking for whatever answer or whatever you need to fit your insults into what I say. I treat you with enough respect to not quote.
 
You are also very right. Dead on actually. I have never meet anybody more stubborn than I. My Fiancee tells me all the time I think I'm always right and only understand myself or whatever. Hum. Seeing as how I live in this body and with this brain I am the first person I come into contact with, yeah. We have to get others to see our point of view and they have to get us to see theirs. Isn't that part of being Human, and Social? Its a large part of Debates, and its even involved in Science! Wow!
 
I understand what its supposed to be used for, but lots of times people use it out of context. Mess up the post and use it to insult you or make you look bad.
 
Kristin if you agree with most in this post then lets leave it at that. It just appeared from your first post (in this thread) that you were being hostile with anyone who felt Sara was in the wrong and giving her more excuses to explain her poor behaviors. Let's move on shall we?
