In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Heres what I may look into maybe 6 by 3 by 3. Or a 9' by 2 but that would take some squeezing. It's a long story. I know that the temperature should be around 100 or so I heard 145 on a video I saw but maybe not. I know it gets big and I need over 1' of mix of sand and garden soil or something like that. If this is cool then let me know.

According to Chad and Robyn from Pro Exotics, the average basking-surface temps for monitors should be about 130'F.

6 x 3 x 3 would be the absolute bare mininum; if you can go bigger, do so.

I use 7X5 for my adult female.

And, yes, 130-145 basking site SURFACE temp (as opposed to air temp) is needed by varanids just like UVB is needed by other lizard species.
