In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

On February 2 I sent a Caiman Lizard to Savannah Thornley of Rhode Island. Phone number she gave me lists as Anthony Archimbault. I got a text after she picked up the lizard saying how nice the lizard was and how happy she was with it. I will try to post it. Later her boyfriend started texting me saying how unhappy He was with it wasn't perfect he wanted his money back. I said fine, send the lizard back(I offered to send him a shipping label and heat pak). No, he wanted to keep the lizard AND get his money back. I have screenshots of the whole conversation I will try to post excerpts, I cant post them entire because his language was do vulgar and pornographic. Now they have filed for a chargeback with their CC company claiming I sent them a Chinese Water Dragon, Michael Hicks, Texas

I read the posts on your facebook and as you said there are a lot of holes because you said he was vulgar and you couldnt post. But if you could, please edit the screenshots and include the whole chain of texts. Not doubting you, but it woul be helpful to see what you had to deal with. Thanks

If I can figure out how to edut it I will

Mr. Hicks,
I fond your FB page and read through the thread there. I realize that it may seem a bit difficult to edit and post the screen shots of the (pornographic) "conversation" here, but I encourage you to go to the trouble.
Obviously, from your post there, you are too considerate of others to publicly re-post something so vulgar, but based on the reactions of your trusted friends with whom you shared the messages, it is certainly relevant.
Some of your friends who you shared the message with seem familiar with Fauna, perhaps they would be willing to help you edit it for content and post it here?
I also agree with your FB friends, they you should definitely the CC company and get them into the loop. It sounds very likely that this couple has pulled this type of scam before.
Please keep us posted! I am rooting for you, and I am confident that others here are rooting for you too!

People make me sick. Its people like this who are going to ruin paypal transactions for all of us. Karma is a B*%c#. I hope they get what is coming to them. I hope you win your case!

According to the op's post, Anthony admitted to receiving a caiman lizard. I can't see anyone taking delivery of the wrong species then demand a refund based on receiving a 'not perfect' specimen.

Mike, didnt you sell it to a girl named Savannah ? if so did she use her boyfriends CC to purchase ? seems like the boyfriend came out of the woodwork after the arrival of the Lizard, and seems pre planned... I would call your bank, explain everything and tell them NOT to release any funds to their CC company. Good Luck.

Well...I did a search in Rhode Island for the person who's name appeared on the credit card, and the only man who came up is DEFFINATELY not her "boyfriend"... at least not in a romantic way....
In fact, from reading the FB profile of the only person by that name in RH, I feel it is much more likely that "Savannah" might be an entirely made-up telephone persona of the man with the credit card....just saying.....

Agree that screenshots would very much help illustrate your side. If needed, you can send them my way and I will censor and upload.

When you ran the card why did you not notice then that the name on the card was different than the buyer's name?

Did the card name, billing address, CVV, etc. all come back as a match? Or did the buyer check out using a shopping cart system on a web site?

Was the lizard shipped to the billing address on the card or to some other address?
