    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just wondering if anyone whose had success breeding Savus would like to share any info on breeding techniques or know of any decent weather reports for the Savu islands? I can only find charts with monthly averages for temp and humidity and was hoping for something more accurate.Any help would be much appreciated.

I had planned on trying my pair this year, but the female has been somewhat problematic...I have located another breedable female, but I am not sure I want to add any more (not like there are a lot of people wanting Savus, but, for the life of me, I don't understand why...they are great snakes). I had pretty much planned on using what is essentially a generic python cycling that has worked well for me with a variety of species. Sorry I cannot be of more help, but hopefully somebody else will chime in with some good info (I'm always on the lookout, too)

First off, I also can't understand why more people don't keep these snakes. They're gorgeous, and just all around great animals to work with. My male is a little puppy dog, though he was strikey when I got him.

As for breeding, I haven't tried with mine yet (the female is too young) but it's been a helluva search trying to find much information at all on them. I got into contact with someone who bred them in the past, as well as translated some german sites, so I have some basic info for you:
From Nov through Jan cool to a night time low of 68-72, day time high basking temps of 88. Keep the heat on for about 10 hours each day. Starting in mid december, put the male in for several days at a time through to march/april.

Hope that helps! I can't wait to try my pair out in a year or two.
