    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I tend to agree with you BUT I would hope that if that were the case (Texas Rat/corn crosses) it would be disclosed in the ad.

The original scaleless corns came from France. The guy bred an emoryi rat, same species as a corn, but a different sub species and a normal corn together and popped out the first scaleless animal. So they are the same as a creamsicle corn.

So, to clarify, yes they are hybrids and should be labeled as such.

Still a hybrid. :iagree: And should be disclosed in the first post. Imho the eyes still look more along the lines of a texas rat.:shrug01:

How many of these animals have you been able to sell? Did they go out in pairs or singles mostly? I think knowing the demand may help with purchasing decisions. Also, what is their trinomial? Is it E. g guttata? Can you post a pic of the ventral scutes?

If it's 98% corn, wouldn't you call it a corn? Who is to say that wild caught corn morphs weren't fathered or grand fathered by a rat snake? Most current lineage should be what matters.

If it's 98% corn, wouldn't you call it a corn? No, because it's a known hybrid
Who is to say that wild caught corn morphs weren't fathered or grand fathered by a rat snake? No one because that is something that is unknown.
Most current lineage should be what matters.
True and current lineage clearly is hybrid. The more information a breeder knows about their animal, the more responsibility they have to pass that on, especially for $3,250 known hybrids, to sellers. Information is power.

So should many breeders of Ball Python morphs put "inbred" in their ads? Just curious how deep the sentiment runs for politically correct descriptions.
The OP is offering what looks to be, exceptional quality animals so why clutter up his ad instead of using the PM function?

The original question was quite pertinent to the ad...the ongoing discussion about it is not. If members want to interact with each other, rather than the seller, then the conversation needs to go elsewhere.
