    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello
I am writing this as an informative thread on the scales and tails reptile shop in Ormond Beach, FL. I recently went in there to see what they had and was just horrified. The moment you walk in, you are hit with this horrible odor of urine and feces. The owner has hundred of snakes and lizards and such. I'd say about 90% of his animals had no water, I'm not saying a little bit left, I'm saying so bone dry there was dust in the water dishes. I informed him of this and he shrugged it off saying, there is always someone without water. That shouldn't happen! Especially not to the majority of the animals! Also, in most of the tanks there was multiple feces or sheds and it was very obvious the tanks hadn't been cleaned in quite a long time. Most of his reptiles were underweight and sickly looking. He also had an albino raccoon in a tank that was just pacing around and looking so tormented AND a ring tailed lemur in a tank in the back room, the reason I mention these is just because of the fact that they looked so sad and almost deranged. It was all just appalling to say the least. Needless to say I did not purchase anything and will not be returning. I encourage anyone to please not give this person your business. Thank you.

If you cannot get into it for the love of the animals, take up a slot car businesses or something. Its all about the animals health.
