• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Scam that Steve and I got across the mail today!

Actually, since I've relisted my KS account I've had at least one scam

mail everyday for the last week. It's usually the same person responding to different ads, most of which are from yahoo.com.uk addresses. Just point them to www.ebolamonkeyman.com and say no more. -Eric Lago *MS Reptilian Hobbyists*

I have also....

Recieved this. Many times in the past 10 days to be exact. Anyways I hope no one falls for it!

I was just checking our AirCap email and noticed we have got this same scam several times in the last couple of weeks.

LMAO

We got a check :D

Too bad it would bounce all the way back to Nigeria.

Ive been getting them for weeks (not checks that is) but the emails. Ive resorted to a tactic pointed out by another herper with my responces (cant remeber whos idea it was, but it sure is fun).

I try and come up with the most pyschotic responce I can, and soo far no ones taken me up on the offers.

Last weeks responce went something like this.

Dir sir

I am VERY intersted in selling you { x } animal. And by all means a cashiers check would be fine. In fact Im soo willing to sell you { x} animal I will cut my own price in half.

However in order to get { x } animal for { y } amount of money you need to do a few things for me.

First you must send the cashiers check on a three legged jackalope to my business address. For good measure make sure the rider is riding a saddle covered in menstral blood. Allong with the rider on the jackalope I must insit you also send allong your wife for me and my friends to repeaditly "enjoy" ourselves with.

Once we recieve all of the above terms, we will send out { x } animals packed well on your jackalope for the return trip. However I will keep your wife as shipping a jackalope is very expensive.

------------------------------

I change it up from time to time, but man soo far I guess Im driving too hard a bargin.

I just noticed that check says it originated in Louisiana. What was the return address on the envelope, or name?

There has to be a way to figure out who they are working with in the states, as if they are serious enough to send a check, then you know they are more then willing to keep any illegally gained animals.

This isn't something new, these people have started to branched out. They have been doing this scam for well over a year on Birdmart where I sell some of my birds. No one is going to show up and pick up any animals they "purchase".

What they are after is the balance of the money that they overpay the person selling the animal sent to them via Western Union.

The first post I read last year regarding this was from a woman who actually fell for this scam and sent them the money and then the check they sent her bounced and she was out something like $2900.

The check was sent from Nigeria, via UPS. I don't have the address, as I threw out the packaging, and just kept the bad check. There's nothing you can do. I even contacted the bank. They told me they have no intentions of doing anything.

I hope you don't mind Mickey, but I just used that to respond to one I just received....lmao

I DONT MIND AT ALL.

Feel free to add your own twist to it, thats all I did. It was someone on the ks boa forum who first posted a similar responce, and that sparked my responce.

Maybe if all of us start sending emails like that back, they will realize we as a whole are on to them, and move on to the next group of suckers.

Besides I have to admit its nice not to have to worry about being politicly correct in a email responce, what is a scammer going to post a bad guy post on me....LMAO.

WOOHOO, I got a response!!!

u are a goat ashole.

Everyone feel free to send this guy an email, he seems to be lonely....lol

Just make sure your AVS is up to date..lol

My current response to him.

How soon we forget, you emailed ME trying to steal MY money. Did you get your wittle feelings hurt? I'm sure your mommy has a tit for you to go suckle on to make you feel all better. Or maybe you prefer your sister? Either way I am positive one or both of them will be there to comfort you. You are a thief. You are the crap that gets stuck to the bottom of my shoe that I have to scrap off.

How does it feel to be so lazy, so uneducated, and so without hope in your piece of [**censored**] third world country that you have to steal from others. Feel like a big man do you? Do you go to sleep at night content that all you are is a THIEF? Must be a great life......lmao

And yet another.....must be two for one day at scammer central!

Hello Dear,

I am Mr. Azeez SY, the manager of bill and exchange at the foreign remittance department of my Bank. In my department we discovered an abandoned sum of US$5.5M (Five million, Five hundred thousand US dollars) in an account that belongs to one of our foreign customer who died along with his family in a plane crash.

Since we got information about his death, we have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we cannot release it unless some body applies for it as next of kin or relation to the deceased as indicated in our banking guide lines and laws but unfortunately we learnt that all his supposed next of kin or relation died alongside with him at the plane crash leaving nobody behind for the claim. It is therefore upon this discovery that I now decided to make this business proposal to you and for the bank to release the money to you but you will follow the instruction as the next of kin or relation to the deceased for safety and subsequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and I don't want this money to go into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill.

The banking law and guide lines here stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed after five years, the money will be transferred into the bank treasury as unclaimed fund

The request of foreigner as next of kin in this business is occasioned by he fact that the customer was a foreigner and a Senegalese cannot stand as next of kin to a foreigner.

I agree that 35% of this money will be for you as respect to the provision of a foreign account , 5% will be set aside for expenses incurred during the business and 60% be for me.I will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentage indicated.

Therefore, to enable the immediate transfer of this fund to you as arranged, you must apply first to the bank as relation or next of kin of the deceased indicating your bank name, your bank account number, your private telephone and fax number for easy and effective communication and location where the money will be transfer.

Upon receipt of your reply, I will send to you by fax or email the text of the application. I will not fail to bring to your notice that this transaction is hitch-free and that you should not entertain any fear as all required arrangements have been made for the transfer.

You should contact me immediately through the the below private email you can reply me as well with this my personal private my private email. [email protected]

Trusting to hear from you immediately.

Yours faithfully,
Mr. Azeez SY.

N/B: YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY IS HIGHLY NEEDED IN THIS BUSINESS.
