• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

That guy is tryn to pull a nigerian(sp?) scam, Do a search on it. A ton of people have had the same thing sent to them.

Wow

Thanks a lot guys, I had a good feeling that really didnt seem right. I have never in my years had a email of that type. My girlfriend actually told me that see saw the local news talking about this same scam. I really appreciate the help and hope this scam doesnt fool anyone in the industry. Should I post more of this thread on a scam type forum??????

The ad should still be up on the dragons for sale forum here on fauna classifieds. They are listed at $175 a piece and as a group I had them at $500. I have a feeling that a bit to high, so give me a offer and I just might accept.

did you breed them alot this year? im going to try and hunt down your ad, then I will email you. No problem about the advice. Ive seen people post about that around here for awhile

Vince is right... it's definitely a scam. Don't ever take a money order for more than the cost of the animal and shipping. I think I remember someone saying that they took a money order like that to the bank one day and the police nabbed the person and questioned him until he could prove what had happened by showing the police the e-mails. It's bad news.

That scam has been going on for a while now on the internet. I have never seen it for anything other than a used car though.
