Wendy...sadly this does seem to be the case....without proof that you sent $100...even if you really did, your most likely screwed on ever seeing that $100 again

So if you have any proof of that $100...post up...otherwise...this situation just sucks

wendy has not provided proof she pd him the 100.00 where is the money order receipt. when it gets cashed she could request a copy with his signature showing she pd him. so she has no proof until the money order is cashed. she has avoided this question all along.

A bigger issue may be Brandon posting ads for chams he probably knew he would never receive, using the Jim Flaherty bloodline animals tag without Jim's consent as an enticement to get people to send deposits.

One says money order was sent. But yet there are no pics of the receipt thingy.
One says paypal was disputed. But I have yet to see the dispute.....
Then the person who bought is all of a sudden selling things that have net shipped to him.
Meanwhile, the person who sold keeps on seeling the animals?

Just return evertyhing. Make it as if you guys never dealt with each other. Then never deal with each other just as many of us will never deal with EITHER of you.

True, and correct me if I am wrong (I have a numerical learning disability to it's wholly possible!) but does that not say he sent her 1634, she sent him 100, and in what she posted (paypal screenshots), he got 1534 returned to him, so they should be even?

Given that the txt quotes are all hand-typed without time/date stamps, I don't know if it's possible to tell when that txt was written....so it seems quite possible that it was written while the "check was in the mail" and he assumed it was on its way. And only after that conversation took place did he receive an envelope with nothing more than a blank form in it.

Quite frankly, both sides of this issue smell fishy to me. Wendy seems to be pretty adept at keeping her records and scanning them for all to see....so where's the scanned copy of the MO receipt?

Conversely, the OP says she claims to have shipped the chams in the paypal dispute....but can't prove such a thing ever actually took place.

MOST of the money was returned, if not all of it....the chams stayed in Wendy's possession until she sold them again....she hasn't lost anything...the OP hasn't lost anything....except that both of them have lost sleep and peace over a few disputed dollars.

I cant believe Im saying this but I agree with Ed. I'd say the biggest issue at hand now is Brandons use of other ppls pics. Pictures are assets to a reptile breeder and theyre misuse constitutes outright theft. Ive purchased from plenty of breeders and I breed and sell chams myself. I can say Ive never asked nor would I ask to use someone elses photos in my ads. Our photos convey proof of our ownership of particular animals and their condition at that time. I wouldnt let anyone use pics of my Falys or Mitsios. I dont care how many offspring you bought from me. Those are my breeders and pets and I dont let anyone use my pics to sell their offspring.

After hearing the whole story I can understand why BOTH Wendy & Jim were upset with you Brandon. You used pics of their animals in YOUR ads. And at the time you posted those said ads you hadnt even obtained the animals yet. We were bashing Wendy for being shady in her past and to me this shows negatively on your reputation in the industry Brandon. If you didnt know this was wrong then you need to speak up. And appologize to both parties for basically stealing their pics.

He doesn't admit to receiving it, he acknowledges the statement that it was sent.

You aren't the only one....whether Brandon made the error, or Wendy did, $1634 is NOT the amount that was sent. The PayPal record indicates that $1534 was sent

Not only do we know when any of the texts were sent - we also don't know that they were transcribed accurately. Both of those facts have direct relevance on the other comments I quoted.

I appreciate that Wendy took the time to post the texts...but she admitted that she was typing them in. That opens the door for errors, which creates questions about discrepancies. Obviously, anybody inclined to distrust Wendy could also claim that since she is typing those texts, she could be making them up as she goes along.
The bottom line is that Brandon paid $1534 via PayPal which has been refunded. Short of a money order stub/receipt being posted, we're going to be left with questions regarding the alleged $100 refund....and, what we have been told is Rochelle purchased/sent that without Wendy's knowledge/instruction. Darn third parties always manage to confuse things, lol.
