    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Don't think of reporting it for you, think of reporting it for anyone he ACTUALLY hurts in the future. It's good to have everything on record.
 
Lance Owen is listed in the membership roll as living in Bristol, Tenn. They have a website. It is a small, beautiful, peaceful place and the citizens obviously take a great deal of pride in it. They have posted an award they received in 2007 for being one of the 100 best communities for young people.

The website has a contact email, so I sent a link to this thread saying that I would like their police department to have a quick look.
I felt that no report at all by anyone of this incident would make me personally feel guilt if subsequently something happened and this person harmed someone, perhaps one of the beautiful children this city is proud of.

he is some punk kid that likes to pop off at the mouth and seem like he is something to be feared. I am a former officer and will be again here soon. I am in no way afraid of him.

Having seen this kid's (yeah, a tad old) MySpace and done my own digging, I have to respect Dennis' decision not to take it further. After all, he did post a very valid warning about Lance Owens, but only posted the punk kid's texts after being asked to do so. Dumb punk kid reacted in true scammer form after being busted, albeit a little more graphic. We've seen it here a thousand times. Dumb punk kid is just that.

Has anyone come up with a criminal record on this Lance Owens from Bristol, TN? Something that would conclusively point to mental illness, previous violent behavior, patterns or arrest?

Yes, absolutely this punk kid is, IMWO, a potential thief and scammer and Dennis' warning worth posting here. Yes, buyers and sellers absolutely beware!

However, and with the utmost respect to all involved, perhaps Dennis might have been consulted before involving him in a possible police investigation he did not initiate himself. This is his matter, his decision.

I know I won't win popularity points, but it ain't up to me to involve Dennis in any investigation unless Dennis, the "victim", wants or agrees to pursue it.
 
I agree, Laura. While I think that this form of behavior needs attending to and having some police show up at his door might make him think before he types next time, it is Dennis' decision at the end of the day.
 
Even if someone does not wish to pursue charges, and even if something is simply "empty threats" (at this point in time), it wouldn't hurt to file a report. It leaves a paper trail should the offender ever decide to commit, or escalate, any future negative/illegal acts (I don’t mean just with Dennis).
However, I agree Laura. It is, ultimately, Dennis' decision on what he wishes, or does not wish, to do.
 
Lance Owens stole my snakes bling pastel Yb and Enchi for crystal and mojo female I have all text messages and emails and my receipt showing I shipped and never got anything back call fed ex and nothing was scheduled for my location period it sucks I'm glade I didn't send him my Pastel Vpi sugar female but I made a police report in Bristol Tennessee were I shipped and someone signed for it(on camera) I can send anyone that's interested a full text history and photo of shipping reciept.

Perhaps so, but if Lance thought that was a threat, it was not. It was a suggestion to eat and not an offer to feed. At the same time that I agree that it is not necessary to make such a suggestion, I have little sympathy here if Lance's intentions were indeed to deceive and/or thieve.
