• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi all, I'm not really sure where this goes, or if I'm jumping the gun...

I have an ad in the Arboreal section that is also running on another site (KS). I was contacted via email from that site with interest in the animal. I replied it was still available and could I provide any additional information for him/her.

Their reply was basically "I'll take it, give me your info and my assistant will send $ plus $50 more for delay" kind of thing. I don't plan on answering them back. Two different email addresses, no interest in additional info/pics, offering to pay extra for "delay"...

I wanted to include the communication so you could see the email sender address incase anyone here was contacted by them with inquiries to purchase..just don't want anyone to get taken.

Not sure where it should go? Technically, I didn't do business with this person, so I wasn't certain a BOI was the right way to go? Idk. If it needs moved (or deleted), mods, please help me out.

Basically, I just wanted to let others know in case they may be contacted in a similar fashion. I think most of are familiar with this tactic, but there may be someone out there who isn't.
