You forgot the fact that he lives in the SAME town as Jerry's GF so he would also most likely know about the empty house as well. Chance are the GF was just a front anyway and used as a reason to mail the payment somewhere else.

well honestly the thing i was refering to was the fact that this wa a ship deal so there is really no way he can scam someone that hasnt even sent him any money. I mean wow a thread gets started about a pending transaction to let people know what is going on now rather than what might have happened in the past weather it be Michael or Jerry the whole entire point to this thread is to find out what happens with these transactions. As far as past transactions it seems like a really good idea to try something different to maybe weed out some other scammer because he is the one taking the risk of losing his animals by sending them to someone he doesnt know. Isnt the BOI about posting positive and negative feedback for everyone to see without the constants barbs at one another? Why isnt everyone just posting their transactions intead of getting into a pissing match with each other and constantly bashing one another? I could care less about all the posts bashing him its the ones that give cold hard facts and evidence that i want to see and then IF possible I would like to try a transaction kind of like this one to see what kind of person they really are. And that is exactly what I am trying to do.... point out the cold hard facts. Just because he was willing to ship before payment does not negate all of the other in his past.

That would be like... because a bank robber said he was sorry and washed the dye pack off the windows he should be set free. Nope.... if someone goes down a less than honorable path... then they have no one to blame but themselves for the briar patch they end up running into.

I have blown up that area to make it a little easier to read in the second photo.

Michaels Last name is Harshbarger. Pass Christian is the town that Jerry's GF lived in (supposedly.. in a vacant house that was for sale). As someone that works in the HVAC industry... chances are he was in the area and knows about the vacant house for sale.

But there is the inate abilty in everyone to become an honerable person no matter their history o background. Maybe thats what he is trying to do but noone will let him because of his past.

I am walking proof of rehabilitation, so I believe 100% in a person's ability to change. I also know that I was not to be trusted in the time shortly after I first sobered up. It took years of consistently doing the right thing to rebuild the relationships and trust I had all but destryed. This guy reminds me of someone walking up to the counter making a big production out of paying for one watch, while he's got half a dozen hot ones in his pockets.

I'm not saying a dude with multiple aliases can't change, but I will sit back and wait to see prrof of his new found integrity by keeping an eye open for what he's doing when nobody's looking. It's really easy to do the right thing when you know everyone's watching....it's another thing to consistently do it without waving a big banner to let everyone know what an honest guy you are.

You may be right... but I work with criminals on a daily basis... and I see too many coming right back into prision.

NOW.... if he keeps his nose clean for several years... then yeah... I'll start to swing to your way of thinking. Until then.... I just have to go with my experiences.

Anyone can go to PRISON.. takes a man to get out, REALIZE his wrongs and move on in a POSITIVE manner..
I went to prison myself, Am I proud NO.. But I am not gonna get out and JACK some unsuspecting person Hopeing for a smooth transaction.

You know, get their trust again and then while he's hugging you quietly steal your wallet out of your back pocket? As long as there are people dumb enough to send money, they'll all still be in business.

It's more than sobriety....it's life.

Point taken about him having to wave the banner so people see him, but there's one thing I'm fuzzy on. Do you think the fact that he is most likely lying to all of us about his location and past identities indicates whether or not he has actually changed? I mean, when most people mend their ways, the first thing they usually do is admit wrongdoing....especially when there's that many "coincidences" staring them in the face.
