Scott is a bad buyer.
Scott waited a year to express a bogus complaint on a purchase to defame my companies name. I would strongly recommend that he be avoided as a prospective customer and seller.
A year ago in October 2007, Scott purchased 1.1 CB 07 Vipera raddei and 1.1 V. a. ruffoi (European Vipers) that were recently imported. They all fed great in my presence and appeared in great shape and condition with normal voids. Scott picked out his pair of raddei from 3 photographs depicting a male and 2 females. To make delivery convenient for Scott, I had a friend that was a Florida Fish and Wildlife Biologist deliver the specimens to him (Scott was a 5 hour drive from my location).
Scott reported that all of the specimens arrived in good health and responded he was quite pleased. A week later he emailed that one of the raddei had not feed yet. I suggested some ideas and a week later I recall that Scott did follow up and report the snake fed for him.
I never heard from Scott again so I thought.
A year later, Scott went to a thread on the BOI under my company's name to express a bogus claim alluding that he did not receive the exact pair of raddei that he selected from photos (despite they all look exactly alike in color and pattern). Scott also made a bogus complaint that the female died months later.
As stated earlier, I did not hear from Scott since a year earlier when he last reported the female ate for him as did the male and the other snakes.
On that thread, I provided photographs of the 3 specimens and they all look quite similar and Scott provide a photo of the male and the photos matched exactly. Scott did receive the snakes he selected and Scott failed to provide any evidence of his false accusations and bogus complaints. Additionally, his complaint of the snake that passed is bogus. That snake was quite healthy and it passed away under his supervised care months later, and for Scott to make a bogus complain about it a year later is vicious.
Again, Scott was not honest. He voiced an opinion and his claims were proven false and he is not only a liar, he made a bougus complaint about his snake dying months later to which he never provided any evidence despite the terms of sale obviously would not conver such a happening if it indeed happened but was never proven regardless.
I would strongly recommend to avoid any dealings with Scott.
