    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Scott was a great guy to deal with. We spoke over the phone before I placed my order and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to answer all of my questions and delivered in a timely and professional manner. I will definitely be checking with him first for any of my future supply needs.

I told you I'd be going back to Scott for supplies. Only a small order this time, but he handled it quickly and professionally. I sent him my money on Monday and recieved the package on Wednesday. I can't complain about that. Very professional, knowledgeable and personable. (Of course, those of you who know him already knew that.) If you haven't done business with him (or heard of him before) don't be afraid to give him a chance.

Although I haven't bought anything from Scott, I have been recently reading the ball python forums at KS and other places, and have noticed that Scott is one of the most helpful people there, answering lots of questions in great detail. Since I have a few new "pets" (my first BPs), I have found his willingness to share his expertise with customers and non-customers alike extremely helpful - thanks Scott!

I just received a couple of sets of probes from Scott Michaels;

I have to say not only are his products of good quality, the man treated me like I was his best friends son through out my puny $30 some dollar order.

I went to order one set of probes, Scott quickly figured out what size snakes I wanted to probe and let me know the one set I ordered would work for adults but that I needed the baby set also. I had only left enough money in paypal to pay him for the one set, I told Scott and he agreed to send them out and trust me to pay him.

The deal went great, he got his money and I am smitten with my 9 different sized probes.

Thanks a million Scott, you are a stand up, straight shootin, good guy.
 
Last year I bought a pastel male from Scott, and picked it up at a show in Chicago when I was there on business. A friend of mine came with and Scott actually greeted us at the door and paid for our admission to the show. The snake has been a great feeder and I am very happy with him.
We're currently working on a trade and Scott has always been very responsive, knowledgable and friendly. :)
 
i'll chime in as well...

i did a trade with him a few months ago and was more than pleased. he freely gave me quite a bit of help and sent me an awesome set of snake probes and a gorgeous albino ball.

good guy for sure!!!

My wife and I went to the Tinley Park show in Chicago Oct. 7-8 and Scott let us stay with him Sat. night. He showed us all his great animals plus his fossil collection (he got me into that also). A great host and friend, thanks again Scott.

Greetings everyone,

I had to add my opinion to this thread as well after an excellent transaction with Dr. Scott Michaels of Serpent City. I just purchased two beautiful '06 ball pythons (one female het. albino, one male pastel) from him, and was extremely pleased with the process from start to finish.

Dr. Scott kept in constant communication with me from start to finish, allowed me to choose from several available females after sending pictures to help me decide (yes, I'm a little picky! ;) ), and gave me a great deal on the pastel male due to the female's purchase. He worked with me to schedule a time that was convenient for me to receive the animals and, when I received them this Thursday (02/22/07), they were everything he had described them as and more. Both the little guy and girl are extraordinarily healthy and beautiful -- I can't wait to watch them as they progress into adults.

Dr. Scott has offered his help if any questions or concerns arise. All in all, purchasing the ball pythons from him was an excellent experience. Should all go well, I hope to repeat the process sometime in the next 1/2 year or so and purchase another morph (I have my eyes set on piebalds next :D ) from him.

I wanted to add my piece to this thread. I just received a very nice and beautiful baby pastel ball from Scott last week. I'm very pleased with him. He let me set up a payment plan and the snake I received is superb. Definite good guy!

I talk to Scott at the Wheaton shows, and he's very knowledgeable and helpful. I get all my heat tape and some supplies from him, and I bought a male yellowbelly ball from him a couple of months ago. Besides being a nice looking animal, the YB eats every 3 days without hesitation. I wouldn't think twice about buying anything he was offering.
 
I've known and have done business with Scott for years. He is truely one of the "Good Guys"!

I have bought heat tape as well as a pair of het albino balls from him!!

I plan to do it again some time.

that was a year and a half ago, and I still keep in touch with him.. He is a great guy with a great amount of knowledge.
