    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was almost a victim to ScottsSerpent. Bought a snake that i didn't get until Paypal froze his account. He then after another week sent the snake. Like pulling teeth. Now, i had just started a new job and was still in my probation period. I was willing to call off a Thursday and fly out to Burbank Wensday night, which would give me Thursday-Saturday night to find Terrance. And i was not going to come back with just my snake! Whether or not i would have got in trouble did not bother me, i was not going to be robbed like that. Now my piont in telling this is to show that by knowingly letting him ROB, SCAM, LIE, and RIP people off (which is a legal crime) you might be actuly inviting a more serious crime to happen. When you could be preventing this! Would you let a known Child Sex Offender hang out at Chucky Cheese? NO. You can go home and look up the Sex Offenders record, but why not just keep him out as a preventative action.

I'm seeing the light.

Like I said I shipped Matt his snake and he did not accept it because no one was home. The snake came back to me later the following week. It was dead when I opened the box. I then attempted to contact but there was no answer. I shipped him a package that contained photos of the dead snake and along with a note that stated he was not going to get his money back! * That was the package that weighed 5oz. to all you dummy's who this there was a empty box. Go ahead ask Matt if 2 packages came out to him on this thread! so that when he lies I will post 2 tracking #'s to show that all you people are quick to judge and abuse the BOI!!!!!! Matt got him money back any ways through Pay Pal the funds are neg. in my account and I am neg. on a snake that he killed!!!

Mr. Hare was the one who started this thread about you shipping him an empty box and as yet I have not seen where you have addressed this issue?

I would like to make a suggestion.
In the classified subforums - put a piece of prominent test stating something to the effect of "It is advised to research any vendor before conducting business with them"

Then have a sticky "How research a vendor"

explaining how to do a BOI inquiry and why the site does not boot people who are probably bad.

The problem is that some people may incorrectly assume that because Faunaclassifieds runs the BOI that people selling in their classifieds are somewhat screened.

That way - naive buyers can learn how to research, and understand that they are on their own to do so.

I bought a snake from scott last week scottserpents.com and his number is on the site.. Great guy and not a crook. I heard wiliom is a crook though avoid him like the plague
