In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Scott Roscoe, horrible animal conditions. (Ohio buyers and sellers)

Figured I would add the vet receipt like I said I would. The rub was down to the bone, he ripped the scab off in the bag he was in for transport in the tote which was a good thing really, so we were able to clean all that off easier, remove all nasty gunk, and was able to see the bone. A little concerned as the bone appeared a brownish color but hoping the antibiotic injections and mouth scrub working from both sides will save the bone to prevent surgery to remove it.

I just want to personally thank you for all the work you're putting into this animal. You clearly care and you put a good word out for snake owners :)

I truly believe this is all his mother's fault, I never got her name only his when we gave me the paypal info. But I would recommend do not sell to them, they live in New Middlefield Ohio, they told me youngstown but the address is clearly New Middlefield, says it right in it not youngstown.

He's great. Hasn't even tried to strike at me even after having to scrub that open sore in his gums which I know has to hurt. When he's in his cage hell pull away or use his coils to shove my hands away lol its pretty cute, but once he's out he's an angel, just doesn't stop moving lol

Glad you saved the poor guy, good luck! I hope his recovery is quick and easy, poor guy deserves a break, thank you for giving him a better home:)

Right now we are just hoping that the hole closes and heals without incident. If it doesn't close like we hope, which it should, or the bone becomes infected, which he's getting baytril injections and nolvasan mouth rinse, or the bone dies he will end up needing surgery to remove it. And we don't want that, so trying everything we can to save the bone and make a speedy recovery.

Thank you :)

Update please.

Update please.
Why would you purposely dig up one of my threads. Oh I get it, this is in responce to me calling you on you telling everyone their animal has ibd.

Tyson has been healed, he healed up nicely months ago. He is now in the care of a friend of mine, not that it's any of your concern. He is now over 9ft and slamming rabbits. He came from a horrible situation and I got him to health, that's all the update you're going to get Tom.

Well, (not to get into whatever is going on between you and Tom), I personally am glad to have the update - it's great to hear that he's doing better, and to add to what everyone else said earlier, well done on the rescue. It's a lesson not to give up on an obviously damaged animal.

Any photos from after he healed?

I'll see if I can dig some up, I got an SD card for my phone and it put all my photos out of order when I transfered them to the sd card.

These are just a couple from when I still had him. Like I said he's in the care of a friend of mine and very well may end up a daddy soon. He is the sweetest and I miss him dearly. My fiance was afraid of him plus how ohio laws are and I saw how the ODA is treating exotics it scared me so I sold him to her. I hope usark could do something after the Lacey fight, on paper the laws didn't look too bad then I started to think, then saw what the ODA is doing to other exotic owners.. I would love another retic but until the oda is held liable for their abuse of those exotics..

He is looking SO much better - and glad you found him a "Forever home". Well done.
He's doing very well, I saw him I think it was last month? Maybe a little longer but he is very healthy. The baytril did cause some sores but as even my friend said that has him better him alive with some imperfections than dead. Those sores healed up just fine and hopefully within a few more sheds he should have scales again but if not its not a big deal. Going to have to make another trip here soon to go see him. His face is basically back to normal as well. I'm happy I was able to bring him back to health.
