I got my beautiful Albino redtail form scott sanchez today. omg this is such a nice looking breeder with no mites, healthy as a horse. Scott does a great job shipping animals that when he got my money the snake was shipped the next day. I was afraid with all of your bad posts but he seemed like I nice person so I stuck it out and now own my first redtail boa albino. I said I'm in a grand whats not the rest of the balance. I sent it last week it got there mon and today is weds and I have a albino redtail boa in my lap as I type and I have never owned one. I was woried cause of everyones posts on here. I mostly keep wildcats (all payments) snakes ( all payments) tortoises (all payments) etc. I ain't a rich man that can shell it all at once. Only a complete moron would order from a person with a horrible reputation twice. One-why not order from someone that has a good rep and spend your money with them? Two-why take the chance? I find it laughable when people post that they got their snake, and are all happy about it, when the last 20 people that ordered from the same person all have complaints. If I was to order a snake from someone, and found out that the person I was ordering from owed more than one person money, animals, etc., I would cancel my order in a second.

My retic order was from kingsnake and we had a almost loose 100 pound tiger retic at the airport. half his body was out with his head. Boxes get ruined maybe Just maybe the snake got out that was lost.? Or a postal worker stole it? I get alot of packages ripped off mostly cds. from my house. I personally liked talking snakes with terry. I never found anything to be 100 percent true bout him. First complainant was over prices whoopie do he uped prices after a few more meals. The a guy refused his snake not terrys fault...

I love my animals. I bet I have the most diverse collection on here. I ain't a moran for going with it. I had money in his lap after reading the threads got a bit worried hence the posts. Decided send the rest and see what happans. I prefer calls 90 percent cause I work graveyards and will answer almost 24/7 I get like 3-4 hrs of sleep and a few 20 min naps a day. I have also had an equally bad experience with Terry Scott of scottserpents. On 2/2/06 I sent Terry 1 albino burmese python. 1.1 african rock pythons, and 6 kenyan sand boas for 420 bucks shipped. He said that he was in bad need of them so I sent them COD. I told him that I would only accept a Money Order and he said no problem. He lied and sent me a a check. This guy stopped payment on the check the day he sent it before he even got the animals. Check bounced a mile high.Long story real short I contacted him and he said he would send me another and never did. I have tried to call him a million times and he hangs up on me everytime. I have also sent him a couple of emails.

I'll get more info on "Scott" for you in after the holiday but he is a scammer and Liar. He told me he'd ship FedEX and shipped a 5.5 ft python via USPS. He voilated the Lacey act and I would not recieve the package to to implication of receipt of illegally shipping live reptiles. She snake was returned to him dead supposedly but aftr he stated he would provde pics of the dead snake, the later recanted that deal. throughout the entire ordeal, he was direspecting me, calling me names, threatening me, etc.
This guy is one of the most unprofessional folks I have ever dealt with. Like I said, I will provide even more details and proof after the holiday. Oh, and he has yet to refund me my money. Considering he lied to me and misrepresented his business practices, he should refund my moneyno matter what the outcome.

I was almost a victim to ScottsSerpent. Bought a snake that i didn't get until Paypal froze his account. He then after another week sent the snake. Like pulling teeth. Now, i had just started a new job and was still in my probation period. I was willing to call off a Thursday and fly out to Burbank Wensday night, which would give me Thursday-Saturday night to find Terrance. And i was not going to come back with just my snake! Whether or not i would have got in trouble did not bother me, i was not going to be robbed like that. Now my piont in telling this is to show that by knowingly letting him ROB, SCAM, LIE, and RIP people off (which is a legal crime) you might be actuly inviting a more serious crime to happen. When you could be preventing this! Would you let a known Child Sex Offender hang out at Chucky Cheese? NO. You can go home and look up the Sex Offenders record, but why not just keep him out as a preventative action.

I have never used this before, but just wanted to warn people. I was interested in buying is 7 ball pythons and as it says in the add for $150 shipped. So I asked him if they were still available, and he emails me back and says yes, but they are $200. So im def not buying from him. Against my better judgment I attempted to purchase the "10 ft. JUNGLE CARPET PYTHON HIGH YELLOW!!!" posted by "Scott" of Scotts Serpents on these Fauna Classifieds. Needless to say I never received the snake nor a refund.

I purchased the animal in question on January 20th and at that time agreed to ship a week from the next Monday. The day of arrival came and went with no package or snake. He informed me that he had encountered some bad weather and that is why he couldn’t ship. Normally, I would have been fine with waiting but with his shady rep I got nervous. We agreed to ship Thursday for Friday of the same week in spite of the poor shipping conditions. Again, I normally wouldn’t want to ship under unideal conditions but I did not trust him and I wanted to be certain if he was scamming me or not before pursuing avenues of retribution whether it is filing a claim with paypal, posting here on the BOI, or filing a police report. I took off work that Friday waiting for the package to arrive, it never did. At that point I was fairly sure I was had. After he refused to answer my e-mails or phone messages I filed a claim with paypal and my bank. I have avoided posting anything here because from my perspective it usually results in nothing but a he said she said situation that I can't imagine accomplishes much except entertainment for the reader and I flat hate drama. I understand that it also provides references to a would be buyer like myself as well but there is so much rubbish on the internet these days its hard to know who is telling the truth.

I did do a search on "Scott" here prior to purchase and came up with two red flags. This is when I should have walked away. One was a shipping dispute regarding Scott and sending an item through the USPS and the other was a pricing dispute where "Scott" supposedly wanted more for an item then what he had it listed for sale. I called "Scott" and spoke with him about both situations and he explained them in a manner that sounded fairly reasonable. The only thing that did not seem reasonable in his explanation about the two red flags I spoke of earlier was why he sent the animal using USPS, which might as well be a death sentence when shipping live animals. I asked if he would promise to ship Delta or FedEx for my snake and he agreed. Like I stated earlier, I should have just walked away as I still had a bad feeling about the deal but I really valued the animal in question and went for it.

Here is the reason why I had a change of heart regarding me posting this dispute on this BOI. First and foremost, he still has the item in question up for sale. When I informed the moderators of Fauna about this they were fairly brash in telling me that they had the BOI put into place for this very purpose and to post my problem there. I fully understand them not wanting to get involved, as I would be the same way. In addition, after filing a claim with paypal, Scott provided Paypal with a tracking number. He never e-mailed or called me with the tracking number, he simply provided paypal with it surely in an effort to avoid punishment by paypal. Well, when I received the tracking number from paypal I contacted my Post Office in the morning and asked them to provide me with any information possible about the package "Scott" had sent. They informed me it was sent priority mail and weighed 5 ounces. The snake I had purchased was around 9-10 feet so it certainly couldn't have been the snake. I held out hope it was a refund. Well when the package arrived today (my mailman knew I was expecting a package and the situation) I asked he mailman if I should open it in front of him so he could be a witness. He stated there wouldn't be anything he could do anyway but did mention he thought it was empty and asked if I wanted to refuse it. I said no because I thought it may indeed be a refund. So I took the box inside and opened it and of course it was empty except a crumbled piece of brown paper. I have been in the business a while now and have never been "took" before. I ignored my instincts and followed my greed and it bit me. I just thought since the item in question is still for sale I would post this so he doesn't scam anyone else with the same snake. Here are our e-mail correspondences. "Scotts" are in bold. Some of the early correspondence was done by phone before he quit answering or returning messages. I have made every effort to resolve this and did not want to post here as I do not want my business tied to any shady people or bad press but I feel an obligation at this time to make others aware of him and expose him as a crook, AGAIN, lol.

False! He changed the ad after the person posted a thread about it, then denied he ever changed it. Denied they were ever priced at what was posted.

He was proven to be a liar and not to be trusted in his ads. It was an easy fix if he just stated he changed the price. He didn't. He tried to falsely accuse the poster of lying. That is a “whoopee.”
