• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have been in the hobby for a while and just learned of this board. Obviously if you came to this board and ran this search, you're sifting through some crazy stuff. I read every post on these boards and there is not a single negative comment from a CUSTOMER PURCHASING GOODS FROM HIM. I strongly urge potential customers to keep that in mind when sorting through comments.

I purchased a male bee at a great price from Scott back in Novemberish 2011. When I talked to Scott and he learned that I was new to the hobby, he offered to stay in the shop late to make sure he would be there when I commuted up after work. The bee I got from him was clean, healthy, good weight. When I took it home it started corkscrewing a little due to the stress of the home change. When I called Scott concerned about it, he explained the ins and outs of the spider wobble to me (a total newbie) and even offered to exchange the animal if it was a behavior that I was uncomfortable with.

I have been to his shop a few times since, most recently a few days ago when I needed him to check out a snake I purchased from a private breeder. His shop is clean, they have a full range of herp supplies, and Scott is always helpful when I go there or call. His snakes are all in very good price ranges and all come from high quality genetics.

They also have other awesome herps at the shop. I will continue to do business with Scott as I find him to be a nice guy and focused on customer service.
