In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

BOI & BOA. Sorry you guys I'm totally off. There is no way to mis-type boa.
I, for one, have to call a spade a spade when it's painfully obvious. And unfortunately, the lie in this case is as transparent as a sheet of glass. When lying, you need to make certain your lie cannot be refuted in a matter of a few seconds.

You did not arrive here after attempting a Google search on the "Boa," but mistakenly typing "BOI." The simple, verifiable, fact of the matter is that one would not be led to this site by Googling the term "BOI." Go ahead... try it. You'll bet hits for various nations' Boards of Investment, the Boise Airport, some homosexual and transsexual sites, various banks, and so on and so forth. What you won't get is a link to the Board of Inquiry or faunaclassifieds.com.

Given that you made the concious, not accidental as you have alleged, decision to arrive here and interject yourself into this thread specifically, along with your geographic proximity to Terry, I'd venture to say you are far from an "outsider looking in."

Also, since it has come to my attention, I must ask you Terry... is Terry Scott your actual surname, or is it Sanchez?

The reason I ask is simple- your name is shown as Terry Sanchez on your domain registration. As such, if you're not using your real surname here on the BOI, you're going to need to change your profile to reflect it.

Scott...you must not Grasp the Obivious to well...this isnt about 50 dollars.its about you being a Liar...just that plain and simple.
Ahh...the BOI. Some things never change.

Terry (and your pal Android), you've been had. Crawl back in your hole.:>poke2<:

Amazing. Thanks for showing your colors guys. I have not been involved with this at all to this point, but rest assured, it is your own words that would prevent me from doing business with you. No point in blaming others, you've done a great job of "defending" yourself(yourselves). :toiletcla

Whatever one may think of the BOI, it is a great venue for poor business practices to reveal themselves.

From another thread on the BOI.

I was curious if anyone here has ever dealt with this guy. His email and website (www.scottssperpents.com out of Burbank, CA) show his name is Scott and told me by phone his name was Scott. When I asked what his last name was, he said it was Scott and his first name was Terry. When he returned my inital phone call, his name came up on my caller ID as Terrance Sanchez. He had ads on Fauna so I just wondered if anyone has any info about any dealings with him. Due to these minor discrepancies, I am getting a bit of a feeling that I am being scammed.
He was to ship out yesterday and send me tracking info and that's the last I heard from him. He never told me how it was shipped and never sent me any tracking info.
But he did cash our check and signed the back with the name Terry Scott Sanchez. Anyone got any input?
Thanks!

Dennis nice find. Did Spitfire ever follow up on that with end results? IM pretty sure we are reaching that point where Terry gets himself suspended on purpose so he can't feebly attempt to gain back what little reputation he had & tell others he got kicked off because he was right. IM a little disappointed we didn't hear the oh "my partner posted that ad" excuse lol. Time for the 4th picnic We' re serving mexican, fried Sanchez enchiladas with burnt Scotty sauce lol. Oh by the way Happy b/day Larry Scott Sanchez or whoever you are today. With 2 names do you get double the gifts?

Good find Dennis!!

This guys actions from the very beginning were all too familiar, identical to countless other bad guys. Your latest find comes as no surprise what so ever to me. Hopefully this thread will serve as a warning and people will steer clear of this guy from now on.

This guy has been busted and can not be trusted to even flush the toilet when he is done. Buth then again he thinks a full toilet is his mirror. He will not be able to scam anybody else now

Here are some of the issues I have...

ScottsSerpents: You posted an ad for 7 snakes, many people say it was for $150 shipped. You then say it was for $150 PLUS shipping, and it looks as though you changed the ad to make you look right. If you made a mistake in your first ad, all you had to do was say I made a mistake in the ad, and it was supposed to be $150 plus shipping. I went into a car dealership that was offering 2.9% financing, about 5 years ago, and they said it was not on the Nissan Frontier, I pointed to a big 2.9% painted on the windshield of a Nissan Frontier, and they said sorry, it was a mistake. End of story, you are allowed to make a mistake. Where you have shot yourself in the foot is how you followed up that mistake. First you said there never was such an ad, for $150 shipped when several people saw it. Then you say you offered her 7 DIFFERENT snakes for $200, that the reason you quoted her $200 was because it was different snakes. Then, you make the fatal mistake that all scammers make, you tried to play the legal card, the I will sue you card, when you have not a clue what you are talking about. If I was you, I would contact the original poster, and send her the 7 snakes she wanted, and when they arrive, let her look at them, and if she likes them, she will send you the money, $150. When someone sees you are losing a sale, and we now have almost 30 pages of posts, basically because of $50, what that tells people is that you care about $50 more than a customer, and that money is way more important than your reputation, which leads me to believe that you are a cheapskate, would probably ship them the cheapest way, in the cheapest box, with the cheapest heat pack....right or wrong, your actions have labeled you a cheap @$$, so people are going to wonder what else you will be cheap about. If you are 16-20 years old, I think it is understandable for a child to act as a child, but if you are over 20, ....

I've only posted one time here about someone who ripped me off but I do have a similar experience with someone I was dealing with. In this case it wasn't an ad that was posted but an email.

Neverland dragons, Wendy, she and I were in a deal together and she emailed me a price for 2 bearded dragons plus shipping. She sent me a really low price and I agreed to it. Then she realized that she had forgotten to add in shipping so she emailed me back and said "I'm sorry, I added wrong the price should be XXX".

I of course realized that indeed she had forgotten to add shipping and of course I agreed to the new price because she was really nice and I wanted to buy from her so I knew I was getting good reptiles. She was honest, forthright, and instead of going back and putting on her website that her reptile cost more she simply admitted she made a mistake. She apologized, I was no worse for the wear. I mean I could have said no and she wouldn't have been upset and probably would have understood my changing my mind at the added price increase but no harm no foul.

The point here is that Stephanie emailed to confirm what she read, Scott changed his mind about that price and probably realized that he really screwed up when he posted. Instead of admitting that he screwed up he told Stephanie a different price and then quickly went back to edit the ad. Can I fault him for changing the ad? Not really, he didn't want to lose money. But the adult thing to do would have been to tell Stephanie that he made a mistake and the real price was XXX plus shipping. That way no one would have posted anything, this whole mess would have never occurred, and names would have been called.

Live and learn and make sure you proof read your ads.
