Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Nono..no offense meant to anyone....was just an observation .
Speaking of typos..i had it at "too" and then changed it ,I didn't think the usage was proper.Now that you've mentioned it had to get out Webster.Now i haven't been in school for awhile BUT i presume {i could presume wrong too now} that the way I used the word...to lazy..was as Webster says for , " to " ..17a..."used to indicate the relationship of a verb with its compliment" or 17b.."Used with a reflexive pronoun indicate exclusivity or separateness". I'm not sure ,but i think i may have been correct to have changed it.
Feedback welcome. :) But English wasn't my best or favorite class ,so i don't what to drag THIS on. :ack2:

Chris, you must be reading the dict wrong. Since you only posted bits of what ole man Webster wrote it's hard to tell. But Jim was correct. Too lazy as in very lazy is 'too'.

Seeing as this has become a Spanish class, a grammer class is not too far off topic. Your use of the word "to", as in "to lazy", was the adverb form, which is "too", or "too lazy". From one of the many on-line dictionaries:

too: More than enough; excessively: She worries too much.

Or, in another example: The keyboard is too far up Scott's butt to be removed. :)

Hmmmmm,yes Jim I see your point.I would have to agree with you.The keyboard IS too far up Scott's but to be removed,so then i would have to then ask the question...what should be done with the monitor?Would there be enough room for it TOO? :hehe:
And in my syllabus it clearly states this is an English course. :)

There's just too much to laugh at here ! I haven't had a lesson in Spanish cursing since I was in the Army, but its all starting to come back to me now. Like "chinko de madre poota" .... if you misspell it, it ain't cursing ! Hmmmmmm .... wait a minute ... if I was in the Spanish Special Ed class, it might be cursing ? :bolt01:

I don't think his business is that good that he could afford to see a doctor.But ,I have heard tell that you can get a cut rate Doctor in Mexico...el cheapo...just a little extra for anesthesia. :hehe:

No, not at all Chris ! But I could have made it more clear, so my apologies if it seemed that way. And don't forget, its only cursing if you were already challenged as a Spanish language student ! Otherwise, its jibberish. Just poking some fun at the two antagonists in this thread. They were within $150 of agreement, but you'd never know it !

I used to be the "Haifa " [spelling}and had about 7-15 hispanics working for me at any given time so i KNOW what that means,thats why i needed to ask. :)
Isn't it funny how you always learn the bad words first of a different language.

Because i don't see you making much progress in your endeavor doing it like you have been. :deadhorse
