• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

No worries:) he was trying to confuse you into giving him your bank account info. Names/addresses/phone numbers are everywhere on the web.

No but I want to see if he sends fake money order or cashiers check
This at least costs them time and money. Some people get the scammers to send them stuff 2-3 times before the scammers figure out they're being played.

I have also received an email from SCRAPMETAL. Watch out people don't do business with this person. He is a scammer indeed!

I do apologize again but I was mad. That same guy (who knows who he or she is) sent me that same email four times the last two days. I deleted them but after the third one I lost my temper.

I was contacted by this guy aka "Fred Wilson". I called him out on his scam. He sent me this address: 1635 Neil Armstrong St. Montebello, CA. 90640. I checked this address and its an Apartment Building. Not really a great place for a 70lb Leopard tortoise. The phone number he gave was (708)492-8039. Which is a Western Illinois phone number. I called the number someone answered with music blasting then hangs up. Kind of in the same area that a certain someone went to prison for an uncover sting regarding smuggling $40K in Wood Turtles from Louisiana. But, I don't want to use any names, lol...
