In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Screw you UPS

They may not be able to deliver today due to adverse weather conditions.
Guess what? It's 70 degrees and sunny at the location they claim has adverse weather. I'm looking out the window RIGHT NOW!
What the :censored: are they talking about.

They are messed up. It says delivered BEFORE it even got here. The latest entry in out for delivery. Do these people even know what they are doing?
I have been talking with them and they really are NOT HELPFUL.

Say it's supplies and not alive!!
Is it there yet?
Fed Ex, you gotta go with Fed Ex.

FedEx is just as bad. Me n' Steve had a very similar thread here a few months ago about FedEx. Remember that one Steve? They're telling you it's bad weather while I'm sweating in the sunshine.

That's their loophole for getting out of any responsibility nowadays. I think they just don't like Steve.

By the way Steve, that guy I got from you's quite the lunker now. He's even breeding for me.

Today's lesson is never ship to Steve

I hate shipping.

So, did it show up yet or did somebody at the warehouse decide they liked it and were going to keep it?

I must be lucky, I've never had a problem with UPS/SYR before, Just had a snake picked up from my house about five minutes ago!

The shipping I just did went okay. But if you go by the online tracking... OMG> it was in memphis not departure scanned at all.. until it suddenly arrived several states over, after a "flight delay due to mechanical issues".
But in truth the box arrived fine. SYR = good.

Got my first SYR package today, but wasn't so lucky. My first DOA ever.

There were four Hogs in total; nothing survived. Don't know how that happened, though, because the box looked fine and it wasn't delayed. The snakes looked to be in good health, too.

I shipped a albino retic from California to Indiana a 3 months back and had all sorts of bad luck. I shipped it Fed-Ex overnight guarentee by 10:30AM. It was 75 degrees in California on the shipping day and 60 here in Indiana on the arrival day. Fed-Ex landed the plane in Tennesse at there Hub and semi trucked the snake to Indiana. Tennesee had 30 degree temps lower then us due to a cold front that we had 12 hours prior. The snake arrived frozen due to being in the semi in Tennesee. It was shipped in a insulated box with a heat pack. I was refunded my money back by the seller but a minor shipping error killed the snake and cost the breeder money. So check where the hub is for the shipping company is that you use so this doesnt happen to you.

I've always shipped through UPS overnight delivery and I've been very satisfied with them. I've never used FedEx though, and my opinion may change if I ever send or receive DOAs. I think no matter what company you use that s*** happens, but for the most part UPS is one of the more reliable companies out there. I'm sorry that you all have suffered problems.

Yep.... it doesnt matter how or what I get via UPS... its not gonna arrive before 2pm. I normally get my deliveries between 2pm and 2:30 so I dont even get nervous until after 2:30.

2:40 arrives and no package, so I go to check the tracking and as she stated.... it showed mechanical issues and delayed. Now Im getting worried.

Luckly Im in tight enough with my driver (he has been inside on two occasions and brought his kids once) that I have his cell number. I called him up and asked if he had my package on the truck. He said yes.... but he was delayed and was running way behind.

I think it finally showed up sometime after 4pm.

As wolfy-hound stated... it never even showed out for delivery.
