Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I sent Sean $400 in a Postal Money Order a month and a half ago and have yet to receive the two female hypo boas I paid for. We had agreed to wait on shipping until the weather warmed up but once it did I received no more communications from Sean. He goes by the name Bigybigy on this web site. If you have any info on this guy I would appreciate it.

I tried to private message him the day you posted this thread but his mailbox was full.

This is disappointing to hear. I spend some time trying to help him out on another thread in which he was the victim.

Could you post the emails or any supporting information you have on the deal?
 
My name Tom Pecanic in Scotts. Az.. I do know/shipped to S. Griffis before, you may be buying hypos I bred and sold to/ for him.... I trashed all info on this/my trans. with him.... Sorry.... Not going to do that anymore?? I will save all info thanks to seeing this type of stuff?? I can't find his email add, or any ph. num. I had for him.. I will continue trying, I am pretty sure that this guy is upstanding though, although he did just get ripped by a guy here in AZ... This must be the tranny that Dennis is speaking of.... I surely hope that S. Griffis rectifies????
 
tom, if you shipped to him, the company you used to ship should have the recievers address and hopefully phone number too. Check with your shipper and see if they have it.

I would gladly do that for someone.... It will take some effort, but I'm sure some of you out there would do the same for me if tables were switched.... I will contact UPS on that particular shipment.... I did look at his previous posts on here, related to me, he supported me on an inquiry here on the BOI... If you search my name, Thomas Pecanic, you'll come up with posts of him supporting me in these threads, I found those yesterday and that was all... I guess S. Griffis hasn't resolved, so gimme a day or so, and I'll get on with UPS....

I can confirm that the above address is the guy I am talking about. That is the same address that I sent the money order to. I have the stubb to the money order and because I use gmail all the e-mails are together. Do I just cut and paste them into this box?
It wasn't as if he said he wasn't going to send anything, he just fell off the radar. I still haven't heard anything so far. I took my case to work to see what can be done and his info was sent to Cook County Sherif's Dept. I am sure that they arn't going to put out road blocks over $400 but if gets pulled over for anything I am sure it will come up.
Strangely enough I have to go to Arlington Heights for a funeral next week.. That is mere blocks from Sean's house. It may be worth it to stop over to see if he's home and to talk face to face.

I just got back today. I went by the address I sent the money order to and there was no answer when I knocked on the door. Go figure. It didn't look like the place was un- lived in. I also didn't get a reply from the other e-mail address from an above post.

Only other thoughts would be to contact the Derek Roberts fella that 'supposedly' did this to him just recently here from Tucson, Az..... I have a # on D. Roberts, and here you grow!!! 520-370-4703..... This guy should have sent S. Griffis an albino, but it wound up here on the BOI... HE MIGHT KNOW SOMETHING FOR YOU!!! I don't know these people personally, but WOWWWWW!!!!
 
Update to this issue

I received an e-mail from Sean a month ago today telling me that he would not only ship the two hypo boas that I had already purchased but an additional one at no extra cost to help clear up any hard feelings. Well, another month went by and I received nothing. I had gotten another e-mail asking me when a good time to ship would be. I didn't get the e-mail in time and found a small package on the porch when I arrived home from work. What was in the box you ask????? A single hypo boa. Now granted that the boa was the size a moderately well fed '06, the litter from which I bought and that it was a very good looking hypo.... It was just so lonely.. It had no sister(s) with it. I can only imagine how it must have felt to travel so far in an unisulated box via the United Postal Service! Soooo bumppety in the back of the UPS truck... From what I could gather from other things on the box it seems as if Sean is now in some type of continuing education. I hope for his sake that he isn't useing a student loan. Once you are flagged for internet fraud you have to pay all government issued loans with in one year, accuring 26% interest for every year not paid. Can you imagine how long that would take to pay back? The effect on future loans for a home? What future employers will find when they do a search for Sean Griffis on the internet - because thay do look for those things now right before you shake hands, unless that job uses the phrase " would you like fries with that?".
Well, this is where I am so far... 1 for 1 (or 2 but why press my luck?)

Wooooooooowwww..... I hate to hear anything other than a wonderful 'will return for more' business tranny for or outta anyone..... I bred that snake you must have finally gotten, I bred the adults that musta given him the babies he was selling, whatever I am trying to say... I just wish I had KEPT THE ADULTS!!!!... I FEEL BAD....
 
I had already bought an F1 hypo at a show. The one I did get from Sean had a deeper color to her (for lack of a better word) that had an F2 look to her. At least you have some one who can confirm that your line produces good looking babies so not all is lost.... Just wait until I put her with my snow, they should produce some sexy moon glows!

Trying to look at the brighter side of things, I would say he has matured, and perhaps feels bad for pulling teenage BS and trying to get one over on someone.

Of course the cynical might say he has to clear some things up before he can move forward with his education?:shrug01:

I hope this is simply a case of someone wishing they could take something back, and then realizing they can.

At any rate, bigybigy brought this up himself, and he didn't have to, so good on him for that at the very least.
