• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Sellers Beware! Ryan Mizzell Dallas TX.

The email address on the Paypal account is Ryan's.

I didn't look that closely - thank you for pointing that out, Nick. Still, though, with the account in her name; she could conceivably win an unauthorized use claim. (I never expect the best of PayPal, in such cases...but, occasionally, they surprise me by getting it right)

No disagreement from me on that. I point it out only to further question the legitimacy of the claim for the sake of the discussion.

Just would like to add in a facebook message to me, Ryan Mizell states that he works for Houston Zoo and not Dallas Zoo.

Not exactly nail in the coffin, but there is no Ryan Mizell in the employee directory and no other keepers my girlfriend asked knew of him. The directory doesn't include the food service employees though as they are staffed by an outside management company.

Paypal's seller protection is really a joke. When someone does a charge back, when the card holder claims it was unauthorized, they will tell you that it is the risk of doing business.

One of the reasons that for high dollar animals ($500+) I usually still prefer to deal with good old money orders, I will probably take a small deposit by Paypal as good faith still only.
Unfortunately it is not the gentlemans deal world it used to be anymore where a verbal handshake was good enough.
Showing my age I guess.....

I wanted to add that the label was 'indirect signature required', which means the package was accepted by someone at the delivery address and signed for, but it doesn't tell us who signed for it. Though it states that it was signed by R. Mizell, no matter who signs a package with this requirement, it automatically enters the addressee as signing.

Does anyone know if FedEx stores signatures for fraud purposes? Maybe they could be contacted by the shipper with a request for a copy of the electronic signature. Someone other than Ryan could have signed the package faking his signature, but it could show it as being signed by Samantha Quinn which would implicate her further and pressure her to rectify the situation since she hitherto has shown no desire to be involved.

I've had more than one case where I had something "indirect signature required" where the FedEx employee simply signed it themselves. I even had a package listed as delivered and signed for by M. Schronski (there is only one living M Schronski and he lives in Illinois, as opposed to my Florida), only to have it be delivered 24 hours later.

I wouldn't consider FedEx's signatures as a good source of evidence in anything.

If you have the tracking number you can get a digital copy of the signature for up to 18 months after the package was delivered at https://www.fedex.com/apps/fedextrack/?action=spod&cntry_code=us

That's true. I can't imagine it would be concrete for anything, but the scammer here is obviously not good at scamming; if he sees his fraud claim disproved with his own signature paired with proof that it was delivered to his current residence, it could be enough to encourage him to return the money to the seller, since he loves talking about lawyers so much. Additionally, one never knows what might help with the seller's PayPal claims.

Thanks for the information, Melinda. Hopefully OP can use it if he wishes because FedEx requires his account number in order to display an image of the signature. Again, not saying findings can be applied anywhere, but I'm intrigued by the details surrounding the arrival of the shipment.

Yet they won't reply to the thread, more threatening with lawyers and trying to scare you with "heart attacks". If he didn't buy a snake and try to fraud someone then none of this would be happening.

No, no, no Elexis you are wrong. He or they are not trying to fraud someone. There is a 3 month plus window where they frauded everyone. They couldn't pick and choose over that time just one item. He stated himself on page 2 that someone charged "thousands" on it. So technically he has frauded many people. Of course all of it goes to inflation due to losses businesses take. Therefore this very special scumbag has frauded us all monetarily and hurts the hobby making it harder and harder to deal with people on face value as just fellow animal lovers.

That's quite amusing, if anyone knew what was legal and illegal I'd think it would be Lucille! Someone just sounds mad that they got caught.

He wouldn't have to spend his family fortune, if he'd give me my property or the $209.

Very good point. Especially since all the emails came from his email, it was shipped to his address, it's pretty cut and dry.

I will ad that Thomas is big on helping rescue animals as well, not just in it for money. He is scamming a really good guy for our animals and reptile industry profile. It doesn't make it right if he wasn't as good of a guy, but he is.

If I'm reading tech data correctly, the emails supposedly from Samatha Quinn and Ryan Mizell are coming from the same computer and the same account, correct?
In post #35 Samantha is shown stating that her son, Ryan, does not live with her, yet he arranged for an animal to be delivered to her home and the emails show that they must be in the same house at this time. She is involved because she is lying. If not that, are you impersonating your mother on the internet, Ryan?
Nobody has done anything but trace your identity and your fraudulent activity. If your mother has another heart attack due to 'stress', you're the one responsible.
