    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello. I have an 8foot female common boa. I just got caught having her in my apartment and they are threatening to kick me out if I don't get her out. I am in college and can't afford to be kicked out and go back home so I am willing to sell her for whatever she is worth, and if anyone is local to me I can also give her 55 gallon terrarium to you. She is about 5 years of age and in perfect health and has never been bred before so I am sure she would be a good breeder. I honestly have no idea how much I can get for her so I am willing to take almost anything that is reasonable. She is very docile and eats frozen rats regularly. Very sad that I have to give her up after a few years. Hopefully she will go to a good home. Thanks for reading.

Just curious, how did they catch you? I'm at a non snake friendly apartment and I have a rainbow boa here.
 
Well to answer your question...they don't allow any form of pet to be on the land. The apartments I live in are very lame, they tried to make it like a dorm environment and had "safety checks," where they went into every room to check for safety hazards. So yeah they that is how I got caught.

Well one guy said he would pay me 100 bucks for the snake and I am still waiting to get shipping calculated since I have never shipped one before. He might still say no if shipping is too much for him. Any clue on how much average shipping is?
 
It's gonna depend on total weight + total pkg size. Last adult snake i shipped ran me about a hundred bucks DHL. But you'd have to lie about the snake to them. I think Delta Dash would be a little less, but takes a while to get verified.

its usually 35 too 100 depending on weight when you try too ship dont tell them it is a snake. when i first started too ship i tryed too do it the write way and every door got slammed. so just put her in an insulated box in a good bag that she cant get out of when you ship her over night. steve

You get get verified as a live reptile shipper.
There is a waiting period and forms to fill out but it's worth it.
No lieing about the contents.
I shipped a 7 foot boa that weighed about 15 pounds across the country. Add in the box, insulation, etc and the total amount to ship her was a bit less than $75.00 for overnight by 10:30 am.
