    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

As cooler weather starts to roll back in to the area, we are preparing for the next Kalamazoo Reptile & Exotic Animal Expo. The show is this Saturday, September 24, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds (2900 Lake St., Kalamazoo, MI 49048 ). What better way to stay out of the rain than to come and check out all of the cool animals that we will have?

Many babies have been hatching out, so there should be a lot of animals available this month. Some of the animals that you will see include bearded dragons, Burmese pythons, ball python morphs, tortoises, boa constrictors, geckos, cornsnakes, milksnakes, and many more. For those of you who enjoy the furry or feathered friends, we will have hedgehogs, sugar gliders, chinchillas, and lovebirds to name a few. If you’re looking for something unique, there will be a vendor with carnivorous plants and voodoo lilies, as well as some other plants. We will have lights, heat, filters, substrate, caging, and cage decorations to set up your pet in a happy home. We will also have live crickets and live and frozen rodents to feed to your pets. This is only a picture of what you will see at the show on Saturday. You won’t want to miss it!

Starting this month, we will also have a petting zoo that is included with the price of admission to the show. To start out, we will have some large pythons, tortoises, alligators, cornsnakes or milksnakes, bearded dragons, skinks, hedgehogs, and chinchillas for you to enjoy. As this program continues, we hope to continue to expand the selection of animals available for you to pet. If you have any requests, let us know and we will see what we can do!

If you have any further questions about the show, you can visit our website at Kalamazoo Reptile Show . We hope to see you Saturday!
