    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently got a new dragon. I was told it was a 7 month old female. She really looks much younger. Perhaps more like a 4 month old. And I am not entirely positive it is a female. Her coloring leads me to believe it is a Rankin version. Can anyone help me to determine her age and sex? The bumps are not yet prominent on her thighs? Thanks!
 
some times beardies grow slower from improper care and nutrition. post pics and I can tell you if its a regular (inland) beardie or a rankins. where did you get her from?
 
I bought it from a college student who could not keep her in the dorm. I am not sure where they bought it from I am trying to find that out. Unfortunately, I dont have the means (digital or scanner) to display online pictures yet. Thanks for the reply.
 
If this is the one you're thinking of adding in with your male, I wouldn't! This size difference would get the female injured in a heartbeat! (or possibly eaten, depends on the size of the male)

To see the reaction you MAY get from the male, put her down outside his cage and let them see each other through the glass. THis will give you some idea of how he will react in the long run. She is way too young to be housed with him though, as being bred would possibily kill her from egg binding, plus she needs the calcium to grow right now, not to put into eggs.
 
What is her length and weight?

At 7 month she should be getting close to her adult lenght.

If you are concerned she is younger or even if that age and just small, she should not be put in with a male at all.

Breeding pairs should be close in size, healthy in all ways including size and fully grown themselves.

Rankins (Lawson Dragons) have very distinct pattern and appearance, here is two below, one just shed, the other about to
