Eternal Night Reptiles
I know that you guys have been asked these questions a million times before but please help me out. So I was reading a thread that was discussing sexing issues and everyone was saying that you should always double check your new snakes in case a mistake was made. Well I realized that I have never double checked mine ( I hope that doesn't turn around and bite me in the
) I have always just taken the breeders word on the matter because I have been afraid of hurting them. I have watched videos and read about how to do it but I have a few questions that I have not really found the answers to.
(1) What is the most reliable method popping or probing?
(2) Is there a certain size that they are to big to pop?
(3) How do I know what size probe to use? I have the 8 pc. probe set that Reptile Basics sells.
I need to go through all of my snakes and make sure they are what they're supposed to be. I have snakes ranging from 100 grams to 1500 grams. I plan on breeding so I know I need to learn this, so if anyone could offer me some insight on the matter I would really appreciate it.
