Xenopus13

Hello, I am doing research on Xenopus laevis behavior throughout various stages of metamorphosis. For the research, I am observing six tadpoles to look for patterns in their behavior. I theorize that some of this behavior may be due to sexual dimorphism but according to the laboratory coordinator there is no way to identify the gender of this species until they have matured into frogs (besides genetic testing, which would traumatize the tadpoles and ruin the experiment). Does anyone know of a way to sex Xenopus laevis tadpoles prior to maturation? They are all at about stage 55 of 66 of their metamorphosis if that matters.
