i feel like ive said what needs to be said. you can argue on here all day or the next 2 years if need be. the address was printed on the label, fedex guy wrote it on the box...because i told him the address was the hubs she wanted it shipped there...why i duno? he said ok ill make a note of it. BASH AWAY!!! im done with this thread.

Still dont excuse you for shipping this way at all, not to mention poking holes in a non insulated box. And Id bet you never marked the box Live Harmless Reptile/Wild Life with Scientific Name of species with quantity, required by law.

ive shipped several snakes the sameway never had issues, she told me to ship to a hub not to her house, and did not contact me like i asked asap when she got them. instead she took the time to take pictures and start all this BS. i dont know how long they were left at the hub, its up to her to pick up the snakes when they get there.

As would seem to be your standard operating procedure, you're grasping at straws and trying to deflect the blame. Whether it took her two hours, or twenty, that doesn't do anything to change the fact that your shipping practices are piss-poor. Beat up old box, no styrofoam lining, no padding to stop them from shifting and flying around, and it appears that the heat pack is under the snakes, where it'd no good at all.

i put in a heat pack to keep them warm after she said for me not to because it could cook the snakes. i also shipped on the days she asked. she knew the weather would be cold. she snakes were in the box for 13hrs, they left my home with no issues or RI. and i dont think they will get one over night. it takes days at low and incorrect temps to make them sick.

Not that it has any relevance, as it's your responsibility to ship properly, however, she only seemed to be against the idea of a heat pack if you happened to ship within a certain time period when the temps would be warmer.

Temps are 85 during the day and 65 at night so dont want to cook them, temp in box should be ok unless they dont go out tomorrow

She made it perfectly clear that IF they were sent on a specific day, she didn't feel that a heat pack was needed. So, again, you're just grasping at any feeble little excuse to shift the blame. Just like you did when you decided to blame your girlfriend for having packed them without styrofoam. In this thread, you state that this is how you've shipped several snakes, yet in your correspondence you claim that your girl was supposed to use styro. Both of those statements can't be true.

Kathy, these snakes are shipped like always.my gf packed them like we usually do. but i cant understand why she didnt use any insulation? unless we were out and didnt have any.

Looks like you're more than willing to tweak the story whenever you see fit.

i also never told u for sure how much these snakes weighted, i never said they are correct weights for sure. i told u i had them weighted by a friend on his scales. i also did not try and breed a 750 grm snake. 1400-1500 is as small as i would breed. i also told u that i would mark the bag with the snake i bred to my mojave. shes 1400g+

Actually, you did tell her how much they weighed. You represented them as all being within a certain range of weight and made fairly specific claims.

yea i got charged extra. the box weights more then 9lbs

theres two alone in the box that are 2500 plus one is 3000g shes 6lbs by herself

Two of them don't even jive with your extremely general representation of their weights.

She's presented one of the more thorough BOI threads that I've seen in a while. I suspect that her story is much closer to 100% accurate than to 50%. You're managing to look bad all on your own. I don't think you need her help on that. As it was you that misrepresented the snakes and shipped them in a manner that invites sickness and injury, the buyer absolutely should not be made to pay to ship them back and fix your mistake.

i said this how many days ago? all i got was a reply callin me a theif...u can forget me refunding u anything! seems like your just wanting something for free! you payed 79.00 a snake! i went out my way to be fair, you obviously dont want to resolve anything, the snakes arrived alive! thats what matters, insurance i put on them would have covered if they had died.

When I talked to him in my convo with him he guaranteed sex and health, but his word is garbage. Kathy said she had em sexed and they were girls. That was the first thing she did.

Absolutely horrible how these animals were shipped regardless of misrepresenting snakes. He clearly could careless about his animals or reputation and the fact that he does not understand why he shipped improperly makes me think even less of him. I would contact SYR.

Xrayed one of them today

After a better look at them last night, they were sexed and yes they are all female. I wanted to let them have a little time to settle after being shipped that way, and we decided that one of them definitely was having some neurological signs. We were trying to video the jerky head movement when we realized she wasn't moving quite right in the lower half and was torqued a little. We then palpated her and could feel an area that was indented. So, I too her to the vet today and took X-rays. This was done on a Saturday, very busy for clinics, and I was not able to stay for the official vet number of broken ribs but the techs and I counted 11, and Brett Bloom who posted here earlier counted many more. I am sure he will comment.

So, Shane Porter, do you still think they way they were shipped was perfectly fine??? (Sorry Mods, but I am so sad that she is having to deal with this...)

I will be Xraying the others ASAP as well. I know you are not going to refund willingly any of the 465.00 I spent with you but this incident is far more than you, me, or these 4 snakes. This is an industry issue, and you have more snakes and are trying to sell more snakes. They are the ones, and the people who might buy from you, that this BOI is for. Your former snakes will be given the very best care I can afford. That means right now I will be taking on an extra job for them. That also means that I will not get to breed this season because it was all the money i had left to buy this year, and tub space will be taken up with non breeders, gladly so that they may heal, but space never the less. I am glad they are here. I love them all! My only sadness is that they might not have been hurt had I not bought them, but who knows they might have died depending on where they were shipped. I will address other comments made directly to and about me ASAP, for clarification purposes only.
