• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Shannon Brooks recently posted a classified ad on Craigslist in Rochester NY advertising geckos for sale, after messaging him he promised to give me a free gecko if I gave him a positive review on here. However after reading other reviews about him and about how he is underhanded I refuse to give him a positive review, he seems to be a shady individual and I highly doubt he ever had any intention of giving me anything for free rather he was just attempting to use my goodwill to help him in his business. BUSTED

What ever happened to just running a decent operation and letting people do it on theyre own accord?
 
Can you post any emails to document it? It would also make it easier for others that only have his email address to search with.
 
I can't believe you could do that.You could have just said no thanks...now I'm further slandered and it's directly related to my geckos.Everyone who has bought geckos from me has been very happy,now I can never breed them again.This was a family project and my few breeders belong to my kids.Your as selfish as the first idiot who slandered me.

That's super shady. This is becoming a very common practice I fear. I wish there were ways to screen through the "BS" posts. I say, track records typically speak volumes. Soliciting a good review so they can find "the right person" to take their geckos is low.

Be a good person, get good reviews. Very simple philosophy.
 
Exactly, the only real good thing that came out of it is that we found this site lol. But yes just be a decent person, and maybe dont steal money from people.
 
I like how they tried to guilt trip you in that email.... What a card! People these days.... Good reputation comes from good business, not promises of free reptiles and freebies like that. Sorry about your run in Jesi, find someone else for certain!
 
Oh most definitely. I know way to try to guilt us, and we have kids, the only difference is, we are going to teach our kids to be honest business men and women.
