    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Shannon Brown straight up ripped me off

Shannon emailed me and said he would replace the hypo no problem, so I think this matter is all taken care of! :)
 
I'm glad I Goggled Shannon Brown. All of the info in this thread created enough doubt in my mind that I may not want to buy from him @ the Sacramento, CA show which I will be attending on Saturday. Snakes get stressed out enough during travel, and if there is any potential for prior health issues, I don't want to take a chance.

I would definitely agree to be wary of what he selling/representing. I attended the Anaheim show the other week and he was there as a vendor. He had "Martir" zonata agalmas on the table and I asked him what line they were from. He mentioned that they were from this certain person and I said that this person was notorious in crossing Juarezs with Martirs to make a quick buck. His response was "for $300, even if it was a cross, it's a bargain." After that he just looked the other way and totally ignored me pretending to be busy looking at some of his animals behind the table. If he ignore prospective customers when they're facing him, I can't imagine what type of service he provides when you're buying from him over the internet. No one at that show was even came remotely to his level of rudeness.
 
Thanks Bobby for the quick reply. Rude, bad business & just plain "SHADY". If he is legit, he would have responded directly to the posts, as an experienced member of the breeding community, he had to know this negative thread existed, yet not a peep from him.

My guy at a local reptile shop mentioned his name, among others, when I said I was looking for some double and triple morph Bull Snakes, so once again I am glad I did some homework before the Sac. show.

i personally would avoid doing business with this character just because ive been screwed a few times and one legitimate '?' mark is generally enough to put me off, but that said, assuming things go through as stated to this point, gotta give the guy credit for doing something...better to see than the typical hide under a rock and/or deflection. ah well, just sayin.
