In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If so can you expound on what debts I owe and to whom??...LOL

I wasn't referring to anyone in particular. But after reading your question to me I went back and re-read all your posts. I was surprised at your admitting to owing someone a substantial amount of money. You state that it's OK to take your sweet time to pay this person but did it ever occur to you that it would be nice to pay up asap? Now ain't that the pot calling the kettle black. Sound more like you're taking advantage of someone's generosity. The double standard I was referring to was the fact that it's OK for you to leave negative comments about someone but on the other hand it's not OK for me to leave positive comments about the same person. The BOI is here to use for both purposes not just yours. :IThankYou :bleep:

Funny I don't see where I said it was not ok to leave positive feedback about someone. And to assume my debt is outstanding in some way is BS. I paid almost all of the debt off. We had terms, no-one is being taken advantage of. You don't know my aggreement or anything in fact you don't know crap do you, what your saying is purly speculation because you want to assume that I am a hippocrit so your buddy Shannon looks better. I owe John Schmitt 2600 too for animal I purchased, he made the agreement and I buy many thousands of dollars worth of animals from him every year, he will be paid off in a couple days and the debt is about 6 weeks old, he loves my buisiness and we will do many many more deals. So I am a bad guy because I get stuff on tab? I use to do the same with Randy until he went strictly Rosy's. This was a buisiness arrangement and he is happy that finally it has been paid..Shannon owed that debt for YEARS and paid nothing not one dime...Apple and oranges bro..

You have NO CLUE WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!
For the ruthveni group has been almost paid for since last year, ask Randy and there was no time limit given. When I sell ruthveni's he gets about half of what I make thats our agreement besides what I keep back.

:icon_bs:
You'r contradicting yourself right here. You see, until you pay someone off there is an outstanding debt. Arrangements or not. Please direct me to where it says that the BOI is only for negative feedback. I can't seem to locate it. :toetap05:

You make no sense..so when you buy a car ..agree to annual payments..you are then obligated to pay it ASAP...
Let say your fridge goes out while one a 5 year contract you can't buy the fridge because you owe on the car.
So I am obligated to pay Randy every dime I make until paid even though we agreed to split the cash from the babies until paid..
And your saying I am a hypocrite because I did not do this?
Your comparing a small almost paid off debt in good standing to someone who owes over 10k to people I know and won't even try to pay..your comparing my arrangement to a person who was convicted and imprisoned for embezzling money from his former employer?
And I am the hypocrite? I have a double standard?
Look.. It is awesome you have positive things to say about Shannon...but one right does not wash away all the wrongs. I am not arguing the fact that he did you right..I do not wish him to do you wrong..This thread should contain a fair and balanced review..we should not exclude the good he has done which he has..but the point is there are issues that need to be addressed and people are loosing out because he will not..

Steve

Are you reading the same posts as the rest of us? Justin has a structured arrangement he is honoring. Both parties are satisfied with the performance. Shannon is taking animals on credit, promising to pay people and then reneging. How is that a reasonable comparison. Your last couple of posts make no sense.

No one is stating that you do not have the right to post your good experience with Shannon. I had a couple of good transactions with him in the past as well. The last one wasn't great though. However, his current pattern seems to be spiralling rapidly downhill, your experience aside.

Point is that when someone, anyone owes money that is considered an "outstanding" debt until it's paid in full. I own a whole bunch of vehicles of which three of them I make payments on. I have outstanding debt until they're paid off. Credit cards are outstanding debt etc. I just think it's wrong to slam someone if you're not directly affected by their actions. Shannon has been very generous with me and it's appreciated. He came on here and spoke out about the issue and now it's time to give things a chance. But it's hard to repair a bridge when there's dynamite waiting to be lit at both ends.

Car payments, credit card payments, mortgage payments made in a timely manner under the agreed upon terms are outstanding debts

Payments not met according to terms or maturity dates equal DELINQUENT DEBTS.

Get a clue Steve. Almost everyone has outstanding debts. It is how they handle the obligation that is important. Shannon does not handle his well or properly.....end of story

Shouldn't you have paid of the first vehicle BEFORE going into debt on your second and third one. Since you did have an "outstanding debt" and created more debt before paying off your first obligation.

I will be the first to give Shannon Credit IF and WHEN he pays his bebt to Rodney, but until then I have the lighter for the dynamite. Terry

I can afford them without any problems at all. These vehicles are for family members and not all for my use. Get a clue. Do you have more than one credit card? My financial situation is stable and growing. How about yours? Maybe you people should look back as to who first used the term "outstanding debt". Because it sure as hell wasn't me. But at least I can admit that I have outstanding debt and I'll bet everyone else here does too. At lease I know what the work means and I don't sugarcoat my debts by calling it an arrangement. :wavey:

It doesn't really matter who uses them now does it ?

Maybe it's you who should get a clue.
You agreed to the terms given by the credit card company, you agreed to the terms from the people you got your vehicles from, right?
Aren't there "arrangements" for payment in place ??????
Because unless you paid for them outright, your making payments....on some sort of "arrangement".

And big deal.....anyone can admit they owe someone money, shoot Shannon came here and said he owes the money ...so what. That doesn't pay off the debt.

And wether I have credit cards or not has nothing to do with this. Besides, its none of your dam business.

I considered making a purchase from Shannon, but I didn't want to take the risk of sending money and then hearing some BS excuse why I didn't get what I purchased. Or as some others, not hear from him at all.
So I am thankful for the people who take the time to post their experiences w/ him.

He may have been stand up in the past but it certainly seems as though he change paths.

In post #42 is where he said that he had no outstanding debt, that's not my words.. And I agree that it's none on my business if you have credit cards just as it's none of your "damn" business how many vehicles I am paying for. Looks like you feel it's OK to get in my business but you get sore when it's done to you. We can play word games all day and I guarantee I won't lose at it. You have a perfect right to comment on your bad experiences and I have a right to comment on my good ones. Are you looking for me to lie and say otherwise? If so you can pound ---- because it's not going to happen. This isn't a one way street. You guys are doing absolutely nothing to further your cause. Not that you're helping your business much either with your rants. :dunce:

Hey moron ...you made it public how many vehicles your paying for. you opened that door. so deal w/ it.
As for "getting in your business" I just made a comment to a statement you made.
If you don't like it tough. On the other hand you felt it OK to get involved in some else's business as well. weather it was a positive one or not , you still got involved. You think because you have a good relationship w/ Shannon all the bad stuff should just go away?
I'm not sore, you apparently dont know me, otherwise you would know when I am sore or just responding to your off topic comments.

If it weren't for this thread I may have sent him money and left myself open to be screwed. I believe I made my point, so enough said.

If you want to make this personal between you and I feel free to get in touch w/ me.
Otherwise be ready to to get feedback on the comments you make, if you cant handle those commets, well then ...shut the hell up.

OK I see. You've resorted to name calling now. Did I disrespect you in any way and call you names? I only gave my opinion and such. Sorry if I don't agree with you but it's a persons right. I'm ready for any feedback and can handle anything you can throw my way. It's a shame you can't and get so fustrated to the point of name calling. I'll be sure to pass your concerns on to other fellow herpers.

allrighty now children......

Everyone needs to calm down and get the thread back on the original subject. You guys both have had good things to say and this does not need to become a thread where the main point is completely lost.

Take a deep breath. Relax. Go pick up a pine snake. Enjoy.

You're right Billy, it has gotten out of hand. I intended on this being a friendly debate and hope that cooler heads would prevail no matter who's side anyone is on. The name calling has negated that though.

I guess arguing w/ me is easier that your quest to justify Shannon's doings.
Yes ...please do ..pass on all my concerns :censored:

Your sticking up for someone who is ripping people off , how good do you think your word will be ?

I had the same problem about two years ago

I'm sorry to here about you problem with Shannon. I had trouble with him a couple of years ago. I had sent him $1200 for a deposit on a few snakes. When he was unable to produce them I expected my deposit back in a timely fashion. When I didn't receive any responses after several emails and calls, I reluctantly posted a thread about the situation. Looking back, I can't believe that I actually felt guilty about posting a negative thread about anyone. But, I felt it was my duty to other prospective customers of Shannon to inform them of his practices. I finally received my money back in two installments. He remembered that I paid with a credit card and a federal money order and I mentioned that I was going to file a complaint with the government if I did not receive my money in one week. At the time I received some flack from other breeders because of his "good reputation" at the time. Now it seems that I definitely did the right thing in posting a thread. Anyway, no matter how big or respected a breeder might be, remember to treat your customers right!

I see, its OK to insult someone here. Just as long as you don't resort to name calling.
