Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Lets not lie here. I "never" said I would end it all for you. I responded and said that if you started with me that yes I would "kick some @ss". Through an e-mail I responded to your threats and nothing more. Jimmy, why don't you post the truth about what I said. Anything I said was because "you" were threatening me just as you are here. But by all means feel free to look me up if in the area. We can either talk like gentleman or do it your way. Either is fine with me. I can do nothing more for you that to apologize. And now you make me wonder if that's even warranted.

Well if anyone cares, I have the emails. if they want to see them just email.
otherwise this is not the place for our dispute.

Theres really nothing more to say to you other than you know where to find me if you feel the need to prove yourself and follow thru with your threats.
If you don't want to come to the show then wait around , I'm sure I'll be up your way (where ever that is) sooner or later.
I'm not hard to find.

And mr. rattlesnake, personal threats on the BOI can lead to an automatic suspension or ban. Please do not use this sight for your personal issues.

You are taking his word that I threatened him on BOI? Please show me the thread that it appears on. Just because you know him does not mean he's truthful. If Jimmy wants to post my e-mails he can and I will do the same. Post his. I offered an apology and he of course has a right to not accept it. But there is no reason to include threats with his response.

I am glad that Shannon responded directly. He validated your claim, and reason for being upset Rodney, and placed himself under the gun to get you paid back soon.
Todays world of keepers is a completely different ball of wax than they were when many of us first started keeping, and today the ego's tend to get inflated, stepped on, bruised, and inflammed. We only hurt OUR industry when this occurs. People looking to end our rights as keepers are all about gang, and legislative sessions are all busy trying to get things passed that will harm our rights in MANY different States currently. When we are busy being immature and hostile, it makes it easy to feed an already misinformed general public false information.
I sincerely hope (and believe that he will) that Shannon honors his original agreement, and his statements here in a timely fashion. It is in his best interest to do so. He needs to repair damaged trust, which can only be done by getting back with the program and getting Rodney paid for his snakes.
I also hope that Shannon finds bettertimes, and gets back on track to being the breeder he was when he got started. I remember when he only had a couple of snakes and started keeping/collecting.

Rodney..please keep us posted. I think we all would like to see resolution.

Today, I received a Postal Money Order for the amount of 700.00 from Shannon.
I am VERY pleased that he has made an effort to fulfill his obligations-this has given me hope that I will receive the entire amount owed and I will update this thread with each payment. Rodney

Shannon Brown on Kingsnake

Shannon has posted an add on the Kingsnake.com classifieds offering cash for snakes. If he has cash to spend I would appreciate him applying it towards the 1500.00 he still owes me from 05.I did receive 700.00 and even offered to reduce the debt to another 700.00 if he would pay me within a few weeks of his first payment-nothing.
Please-no more excuses about surgery-a stomach bypass is elective not mandatory.
To everyone out there(and I KNOW there are SEVERAL others) Shannon owes money to-again I am inviting you to step up and post.
I DO NOT understand what you hope to gain by remaining silent-I KNOW several of you have outstanding debts that are YEARS old.
Do you really think you will be paid?
I DO KNOW that by remaining silent and refusing to take action with me YOU are allowing the list of US to grow,and that is sad.
This hobby has enough uphill battles to fight without the addition of unscrupulous individuals with MANY outstanding debts.
To KINGSNAKE.COM-YOU are partially responsible for Shannon's long list of casualties,I KNOW you are aware of his reputation yet you refuse to take action.Your website is how I found out about Shannon.I was led to him through you! Barringer,I KNOW you have been informed about Shannon and his reputation by more people than I.

Shannon's numerous posts on the forums is terribly misleading to the community-he plays the good, helpful,informative individual,(with the awesome collection he could sell part of to be an (gasp!!) upstanding accountable person-yet he does not.
Again KINGSNAKE is responsible for allowing him to use the forums to deceive those who are unaware of his business ethics.


I think the forums should tell the whole truth and let everyone one know the WHOLE Shannon Brown experience!!!!!!

To those of you who read this and are like me,owed money long term by Shannon yet do nothing about it-you are partially responsible for allowing him to operate this long.
If ONE of you had spoken up in the beginning perhaps MOST of us would not have made the same mistake.
Sadly,you are also partially responsible for those in the future who are taken advantage of by Shannon.

Lastly,KINGSNAKE needs a total overhaul.To long have they allowed unscrupulous individuals to use their website to take advantage of buyers.
Like Ebay,there SHOULD be a rating system used by the buyer and seller.
Those who are honest would have nothing to fear because they would receive positive feedback,those who are not honest.... well,a few negative feedbacks and they would not receive anymore business.
This would go a long way to protect those new and old to this Hobby.
