    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Share your funny Karma comments

Ok, time to chime in here.

A couple years ago someone ( I think it was Bill Leverton, but too long ago to be sure) meant to leave me bad karma and called me "a complete dick" in the process. But they left me positive karma instead of negative. Laughed pretty hard at that one.

I do that periodically. Annoys the crap out of me, lol.
 
Well, I guess it's time to come clean. Yes, it was me that left David the good karma.

Here's some quick backround info: I was reading one thread (which has been dragging on for far too long) in which a woman receives a BP and takes it to the vet upon the seller's advice, and then proceeds to drag out the process, start talking about litigation, accept an offer, decline an offer, disappear from the thread, etc, etc, etc. I swore off that thread for health reasons....any guesses as to which one I refer?

Fast forward to another thread where some bonehead comes out guns-a-blazin' much like the previous op mentioned. He then proceeds to offer as proof, e-mails demonstrating his unnecessarily abusive tone and overly demanding requests, which he tops off with a few insults aimed at the very BOI he is asking for help.

If you read the link David posted, I think you'll see that rarely we have seen anyone so effectively intellectually eviscerate a baffoon such as the op in this case. I felt satisfied after reading that....I smiled and felt that this particular thread was in very capable hands. I wanted to give David a "man hug"...hence the karma. I figured he'd get a kick out of it, but didn't think so many others would have been entertained as well...cracks me up!

While I am flattered Chuck the long distance relationship may have worked out better had you not moved from PA. Besides, what would Brandi say?

And yes, Capt was the driving force behind the starting of this thread. I am happy my post here has been such fun and I hope the funny Karma comments still come in for others to post and enjoy. :thumbsup:

Well, Dave, I thought it was a great idea--and it was lots of fun. Sounds like something we should carry on periodically when we get those "so-funny-i-gotta-share" karmas!

Thanks for the kind words Mike. And yes, I obviously got a kick out of your comment and just had to share. I did though, have a good idea that others would enjoy it and that's why I posted it.

I was really hoping for the OP in the thread Mike is speaking of would have replied back. I saw he was viewing the thread on a few occasions after my post but my only guess is that I must have hit the nail on the head with my post for his lack of response. :thumbsup: I can only surmise I was correct in my post as I am quite sure any inaccuracies would have been pointed out by the OP immediately.

Those of you who have ever used a laser pointer to have the dog or cat chase after it, run in circles, run into the wall, etc... can relate to the way I post at times. Yeah, it's not quite "right" but damn it's fun! :dgrin:
