    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had a pretty good year this year! I'm done hatching out eggs because I have a pretty small collection and all my girls tend to go at the same time. Managed to hatch my first ever pied and it's a female! Yay! Pieds were the reason I got into ball pythons in the first place, and I am so unbelievably stoked to finally get one. :)

Here are some holdbacks for me this year. The first two photos are of my holdback 66% het pied. She doesn't have any markers, but her reduced pattern and light honey color are just really beautiful to me.

The last two photos are of the only good egg I got from my mojave x calico pair this year. She hatched out with such an unusual pattern that I've decided to keep her.

I may breed these girls back to their fathers in a couple of years, or I may just keep them as a really cool normals. Hatching out babies is so exciting!

And then here are some updated photos of the dinkers I picked up last year from Outback Reptiles. The male is in the first two photos. He's extremely dark and I wonder if he may be in the blue-eyed leucistic complex, except he doesn't have a clean belly. I'll be breeding him to a normal female this year to see if I hatch out some babies like him. I would breed him to my female mojave, but she's got a date with a fire yellowbelly this year!

The second photo is of the female. Beautiful reduced pattern... and I'm totally a sucker for dorsal stripes if you haven't figured that out about me already. ;-) Her belly is interesting too! She's at about 550 grams here, so she's got at least another year of growing before I can breed her.

Feel free to share your own photos! I love to see what other folks are producing, and I figured that keeping one thread dedicated to holdbacks and dinkers may be a bit easier than a dozen different threads on the same thing.

My latest...

The second one is just a spider and won't be staying here. I just thought the face on it's head was neat. Reminds me of something but I can't think of what. Maybe a game or movie, I don't know.

Doug, that's a great looking mojave cross. I'm guessing pastave?

Anthony, can you get a better photo of your girl? She looks interesting!

Stay Puft from Ghost Busters!

Holy crap, seriously Doug? That's a hot snake! Totally had me off in the wrong direction. I'm hoping to produce some fire yellowbelly mojaves this year, so that next year I can breed my enchi female. My goal is to eventually hatch a fire yellowbelly mojave enchi, although that's several years away for me. ;-)
