In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Shaun Pruitt of Prototype Pythons

In my experience adult females are much more likely then hatchlings to go on a fast when changing environment.

50% Of the adult I have received (breeder loans or purchased) did not eat for me upon arrival and it took them anywhere between 3 to 9 months to adjust and resume feeding. Not once has it cross my mind to label the breeder as someone to be wary of because the animal would not eat for me.

She obviously would not be 2200 grams if she was not eating.

So yes I understand it put a dent in your project however those are animals and animals are unpredictable.

Based on the age and the changes of environment the animal can go off feed (short or long term) and I don't think any one can guarantee that an animal will not go off feed upon arrival especially an adult female.

Again at 2200 grams she is a established feeder that will resume feeding on HER terms.

Now as far as your complaint I am confused

While most people do not offer "extended" guarantee Shaun offered something to compensate you (which most probably wouldn't have) to which you agreed apparently agreed on.

a pair of regular paints will work fine i still havent gotten her to eat i might take her to the vet and next time she shits a bit get a fecal done. thanks kyle

Yet you still come here and say this. :shrug01:

I would be very warry of buying from shaun Pruitt. I know if i sold a snake and it wouldnt eat for 4 months id either refund them or replace the animal with something that they as a customer would have chosen.

I see something that is not an issue but a pretty common problem when buying an adult BP (something one with your experience should expect) and I see someone who offered to compensate a customers for the inconvenience and yet still get a bad review.

Sorry Kyle,
I would have to agree with Deborah. I purchased a few from Shaun Pruitt and some have eaten and others not, but I still gave him a good review because of the fact that he was very upfront with me and kept good communication. I also bought 2 adult females from him, one just took her first meal from me (a PK XL rat) after a couple of months, the other still hasn't eaten, but I'm positive that she will and hopefully prove out on her genetics!
Just saying!

Kyle, really? First off, transactions??? You've bought one snake ever from me. Yet we've sold over 100 recently, you're the only complaint! Funny. Also since you like copying messages you want me to copy and paste the facebook messages on January 2 I sent you a message letting you know I had a pair of paints well started on rats and asked if that made you happy and it wasn't til YESTERDAY at 3:20 am when you responded and said that was great with you?? Personally I don't think you deserve that but I gave you the benefit of the doubt and you do this? I personally think if I do send you something else there will be a problem with it, because you messaged me two days after receiving this snake telling me it wasn't eating!

Deborah thank you, these are facebook messages where the say if each message is conveniently left off. The 2:50 am message saying a pair if paints would be find was yesterday morning. I personally think I've done everything in my power to appease him, which is made obvious to everyone but him in those messages he pasted. I'm done with dealings with Kyle in the future if anyone wants a true reference, contact me , I'll give you a LIST of references. Like I said I've been selling a collection, over 100 animals sold and this is the only problem.

Shuan been talking to him in pm and beware hes now saying the snake has RI and says he didnt notice it til now but thinks it came w the snake when you shipped it

I then told him it would be hard if not impossible to pin RI on Shaun after 2 months and the snake would be in ALOT WORSE CONDITION IF NOT DECEASED.

The whole thing scream “buyer’s remorse”, Kyle wanted a head start bought a large female to breed this season and now that she is not eating (which is pretty common with adult females after they are shipped) he realize that he spent all that money and that he won’t breed her after all this season and in turn decide to blame the seller.

First she a non feeder (Interesting for a 2200 gram animal :shrug01:)

Second she has a RI (Interestingly enough someone one with that much experience strangely catches it 4 months later, and of course it could not have happen while in THEIR care it must have been the seller’s fault )

Looking at the situation and the way the seller try to make up for something that is not even an issue I would not hesitate to by from Shaun however I would definitely not sell to Kyle. Seems like the buyer is the problem here.

Funny how no mention of Ri even on the facebook posts for converstaion that took place yesterday seems like someone is grasping at straws.

Story got more holes than swiss cheese

Wow Kyle funny after two months (well four months using your math) this snakes pops up with an RI and its my fault?? That's funny. Its crazy, I was gonna send you s pair of paints just to appease you when I shouldn't have, but you post this 24 hours after telling me a pair of paints would be good. Well I'm sorry I've done all I can do. Wish you the best of luck but I'll stick with the 99.99999% of customers I have who know what they're going, thanks.

For real?

I purchased the 1000gram butter fml, 200 stinger bee male, and a 2500gm + albino fml off Shuan which turned out to 2800 after dumping a log! and I had a great buyer experience. The buyer here seems fishy not the seller. Thanks Shaun!

I started this good guy thread and I feel the need to drop a couple lines. Kyle, I'm sorry if the pastel butter is not feeding for you. When you say you bought a rat feeder, it means that it was feeding well when it was in the seller's care. This doesn't necessarily mean the seller is telling you the truth, but that's when the credibility comes into play and Shaun is an honest guy from my experience.

All the adult females I've received from him have taken meals from me. No one will give a 100% guarantee that a snake will feed in a short amount of time after you receive it, but Shaun is trying to correct the situation by offering you the pair of paints and letting you keep the pastel lesser. I think he is being more than fair. I saw that you agreed to receive the paints, but I'm confused on why you would post what you posted after this. I hope you guys can work this out.

Thanks Ryan and Tristan I'm glad everyone understands that adult females especially are prone to these things. Everything else he's added later is grasping at straws, he admitted that snake had no signs of RI at arrival. As far as credibility I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first when I offered the pair if paints, but after what he pulled here tgen talking behind my back as he did he has shown his true credibility and I think I have established mine. As far as I'm concerned my dealings with Kyle are done and listening to others opinion here I was going above and beyond in the first place and have no remorse in my decision. Kyle she will eat for you, it might take her awhile to adjust but after you get that RI cleared up that she supposedly has she will adjust and breed fir you down the road but maybe not this year but you will get more than your money's worth out if her.
