    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello everyone I wrote this on www.reptilescanada.com it is about a con man named Shaun Watkins who has a company called exotics scales.
He claims to be a number of things such as a ball python breeder, pvc tank and rack fabricator, rat breeder and feeder wholesaler but he is none of these! He is a theif, a con man, a liar he is what he did to me and my wife! And if you go on to reptilescanada.com look for his profile and click on member feed back you will see a few more people this guy has burned!



Human Garbage people what can I say about this scumbag...... Me and my wife are opening a reptile store and about a year ago I saw Shaun's ad for pvc tanks and racks so I sent him a email stating that me and my wife are opening a store and are interested in your tanks and would like to do some sort of business deal! So after exchanging emails and and a few sit down meetings Shaun tells me he is this big time ball python breeder with all kinds of high end animals 200 breeders to be exact and he's this big time feeder wholesaler who supplies various stores with feed and that his prices are so cheap! So after hearing this Any one would think hey this is a good guy to go into business with right???
So I make the proposal lets go into bussiness together. From My point of view I am thinking heres a guy who makes pvc tanks and racks, who breeds all kinds of ball python morphs and is a good connection for feeders! So I offer him a 25% profit share in what I am doing! So he asks me for money $2000.00 in which he will supply me supplies at a later date it's been almost a year and I haven't recieved anything no money no cages just a bunch of ignored calls, unreturned messages, excuses sad sob stories. Just always dodging delivery of tanks oh they will be ready next week, then the following week oh they will be ready next week. Then the following week oh they will be ready next week then 2 weeks of not picking up or returning calls then some b.s. excuse and he needs more time I soon realized that I got conned but tried my best to get something but in the end I got burned. I love it though because now we can all laugh at this scum bag There is quite a few people in this industry that know me now and know what he did and they like to talk and it will get around! So When you see this guy at the shows trying to make a dollar think twice about giving your money to him! he has 3 negative comments now I know of a few more people he has screwed and has tried to screw but I will let them tell their experiences on their own if they wish!
It turns out this guy breeds nothing but fairy tales he has no conections except for the ones I have given him! he's a con plain and simple. And I am dying to see your retort Shaun as to why you deserve my money. Why It is ok for you to steal from me and my wife! What excuse and lies are you going to come up with I gave you money you stole it! I told him I was going to post this comment after an other weekend of avoided and ignored calls. I sent him a text saying I am going to write this negative post and go on fauanclassifieds for the boi (board of inquiry)
he texts me back saying oh I was about to call you but now I see what you think of me! What ever this guy is really bad news ok do not give this guy a dime because the stuff that you buy from him was obtained buy criminal means! So basically your buying proceeds of crime!
Shaun I can't begin to tell you how good I feel to finally get this out! My god I am so happy to have gotten this off my chest! Shaun you are one of the worst things to have come into the industry!

So there you have it guys lets stop this pig of a man from fouling our industry with his filth! Learn from my mistake gain from me! Lets send a message to him and let him know that he has to work for a living and not steal from hard working people! And I hope that this will open the flood gates and get others he has burned to come foward!

Sorry to hear about what has happened. Do you have any emails that you can post to back your claim? Does he know about this post so he can come and comment?
 
By any chance do you have a contract of any kind? A business dealing of this magnitude should have something in writing signed by both parties. Not to say that you weren't taken for a ride, but did you really just hand over two grand to a virtual stranger?
 
Not sure what the law is like in Canada, but if you have it in writing you should be able to take legal action against him.
 
Jason, please post all emails, texts and the contract here. (Its permanent here, can't say for other sites)
 
I am going to wait on it after this much attention from this site and the other one we were able to talk it over! Things might be able to get worked out! I need a couple days for his sake! Issues arised on his side in which I guess his pride got the best of him! Some times in life things don't go as planned and along the way circumstnces happen that spiral out of control he has informed me of his situation and I am some what simpathetic! His means of handling it were very wrong but he wants to make it right the best he can and I will give him that chance! I will keep you posted and let you know!
 
I decided not to go into business with Jason Regaldo for various reasons. He recieved well over $2000 in CH ball pythons and 5 racks for his store. He has made reference to me trying to take advantage of Mark Mandic and another breeder in Montreal. Both of his claims are absolute fabrications. Any one can contact Mark to confirm this.

He has even placed two negative comments on my profile under different names to make a point. This guy is a pet store owner that is just trying to punish me for not going into business with him. The main issue here is that I wouldn't supply him racks or cages super cheap. He gave me $2000 for supplies for the store and then proceeded to negotiate 20 cages (2' x 4' x 1') for that amount. When I said I couldn't, thats when our problems started. He expected me to supply the store with cages at cost of materials and give him all of my contacts for some fictitious 25% of the business. then I heard from a mutual friend that he was just going to use me to help open his store, steal my contacts and cage design, and then screw me over. The business contract never came so I decided not to deal with him further.

Note that Jason has no documentation posted to back up any of his claims. There is a contract that I insisted that he sign regarding the $2000 that was given to me for materials for the store.

Yes, we both signed it. It was orginally just for display racks for the store, then when he arrived at my place he changed the agreement to just materials for the store such as racks and cages (I will have to dig up the contract and post it).

When I heard what our mutual friend told me about his plans, I confronted Jason about the business contract that he was supposed to supply me to look over. He kept saying that it was coming and after awhile, when he started to bug me about contacts for the business, I told him that I wasn't interested in being involved in his business, especially without a contract.

After that I gave him an offer to settle my contractual/monetary commitment to him and he accepted. The settlement was 5 racks worth $250 each ($350 with heat tape and bins but these were minus heat tape and bins) and 40 captive hatch ball pythons from NGM Exotics. Like I said, he got his monies worth. He has been selling these balls in his store with no problems from what I have been told. So, basically, $1250 in racks and (40 x $25) $1000 in ball pythons.

Also, his claim that this went on for over a year is incorrect. He gave me the money in March of this year and we settled this in July.

If you take a look at my RC profile you will see how under handed he truly deals. He has left negative feedback under two different user profiles on my feed back page. One is Boidfreak and the other is Reptilez. He is breaking two major policies on RC. One is the fact that you are not supposed to have 2 profiles and second, he is using 3rd party information on his feedback (which is not allowed, you can only reference your own experience with a buyer/seller). The 3rd party information that he has left on my feedback page is also fabricated lies. If you check with Mark Mandic, there are no issues with my business dealings with him. The Montreal breeder that he is referring to is entirely invented. If he wishes to name this "Montreal breeder" that I am apparently trying to scam, that would be great and then I can clear that up too.

Did you draw up another contract for that deal or was that all verbal? If so, posting that would help too.
 
that is not actually how things went down there are 2 sides to the story and then the truth. We have patched things up some what. He never had any contacts to give I was the one that gave him mine and everytime i got a other one for what ever it may be he would want it! Any ways Nate from NGM said he has never done business with shaun and all the ball pythons that he gave me died because they were so parasite infested. They were all wild caught garbage which he knew.I took them because I had to regain some of my loss. And me trying to screw him lol never happened. How could I if I was the one who put out the money. I wasn't in a position too? He had my money if you go back to my original blog you will see what happened. Shaun had no contacts which ones did i want???? I was the one who gave you George for the feeders! dude i really don't want to rehash this again don't try to knock my character with BS or it is going to get ugly again! You know what you did and you know that you were in the wrond don't make up lies and stories ok what is done is done.
 
Also, how does taking sick ball pythons help you with "some of your loss"? Loss of money + sick snakes =More lost money for vet bills, unless you didn't treat them or take them to the vet at all, which is irresponsible....

You came to the BOI for help. You were asked for supporting documents which you say you have, but never posted. Once you post here on the BOI, you cannot direct people not to 'rehash' the problems that you publicized, and the way you deal with problems makes a difference in how the readers here see you, and your reputation.
How is your store coming along?

:iagree: But you know what is sad... when you get two completely different sides of a story. It is really hard to determine who is at fault or who is trying to stir up some drama to get attention (many pick the second option). I hope things ended well for both parties and lets hope this is a good warning to others to get contracts going and get things in wsriting when doing business deals just to protect themselves from being screwed over.
