Not to mention the days I shipped his we had a heat wave on our side of the U.S. and was about 60 degrees.Again I've shipped in below 10 degrees and snowing with no complaint just a thank you and a smile. Thank You.

The most important aspect about shipping live animals in the winter is what the low temperatures are overnight, thats when the packages are shipped not the highest dailey temps.

Check the low temps on Feb 11, I believed thats the day I recieved that box in the mail. the day your calling the 50-60* heat wave.

I cant believe you are shipping bearded dragons in below 10* temps in a single wall cardboard box? these dragons are used to basking in 120* temps.

No his pic was my box.I did have a heat pack inside the box.I just didn't insulate the box because of the weather.The heat packs I use can reach a temp of 110 degrees.I didn't want to burn the animal up it was heat packed and inside a container with paper towels.The box was a thick sturdy box also it was not some flimsy box.I have more of the boxes if you would like to see them.

Basically what it boils down to is if there was a problem it should have been discussed fully as adults between me and the buyer.If he would have contacted me and I would have blown him off I would have expected this.I've been doing this for about 3 years and have never received a complaint.If you do not receive a complaint then how are you going to know your doing something wrong??If he felt I did something wrong he should have been an adult and explained to me his problem along with a better method of shipping.Not go behind my back and completely destroy my name.I'm trying to build a business and now I have my name all over the internet like I'm some evil breeder that cares nothing for his animals which is so far from true.I think it was a coward move on his part to create this forum at least without fully discussing his issue with me first.My apologies to the people who feel I did something wrong along with my apology to Ed.It was one mistake on my part.If I did not care for my animals I would not have made the decision I made to not insulate simply because I made that decision out of fear of burning the animal up.It's not right that I'm being attacked on here like I'm some type of criminal.I made a bad judgment call on my part and was fully prepared to accept the consequences when he contacted me.I offered him a refund.Also if I did not care I wouldn't still be here posting.Every one is entitled to an opinion such as an individuals view on this situation.Also to clear up the fact that I've shipped in below 10 degrees weather.Before I ship in those conditions I fully discuss with the buyer the consequences and if they give me the go ahead I ship and I've never had a problem or complaint doing so.Back to this it was one mistake that I don't feel I made but obviously some people think I did.I can't help what someone believes but I know the truth behind the situation and that's all that matters to me.There is always going to be critics and people that want to see you fall.Especially when your running a business it's expected and almost inevitable.I overlook those people as if they don't exist.

If Ed came here prior to contacting you for any type of resolution, I agree that it was bad form on his part. If this had been your first post rather than last, you would be looking much better right now, but that's a bit of knowledge you have for next time.

I know nothing about you posting under different names, but I hope that's not the case. If it is, you will get torn to shreds here for you dishonesty, and rightfully so. You may want to correct that ASAP.

Yep, totally appropriate. Totally a thick, sturdy box.

The heat packs can reach more than 110 degrees, that's why you don't put them underneath the animal. It even says that on the package.

The past month he has posted under 3 different user names on 2 different sites that I have seen....wonder how many other sites he is posting on and what names he is posting under?

The issue is not if the box was a sturdy box or a flimsy box.

The only issue is the box was a single wall cardboard box that you used for shipping live animals in the winter.

You said you have used this same method of shipping live animals for years, its not a good way to ship and puts the animals at a later risk from being chilled during shipping.

It comes down to either you dont care about the animals you are shipping or you do?

He took those pics to his liking.It's very easy to take a few pics to make people feel sorry for you.

Thats exactly what I did, I took those pics to my liking...the mailman delivered the box, I seen what a terrible packing job you did, I put the box on the floor took a pic, then opened the box and took another pic....it was all to my liking.

It was all to make people feel sorry for me...that was my plan.
