In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ship your reptiles website

Chad Brown called me today...

and answered any questions I have. You guys really sound like you have it all together, and have really done your homework! Looks like you have made plans to make it work well for both the heavier volume business shipper AND the guy (or gal) who only needs to ship once, or just occasionally. Looks like it is off to a good start - I will continue to spread the word around.

WOW, Awesome! Thanks Robyn, for all the hard work to get this going! Can't wait! just Awesome!
Kyle
ps) I'm signing up right now!

This has been mentioned on my forums recently and one of my members posted a link to this thread...very awesome stuff! I'm curious...can you give us a ballpark figure of the costs associated with this? Specifically, around how much will it cost us to utilize your service not including shipping charges...or will you have a way to provide the service itself free of charge?

What are the costs? If you purchase shipping supplies, I suppose those are costs, but there are no others, aside from the shipping, which is 30% off.

Superior Enterprise is fulfilling the supply orders, we offer 5 different size boxes, from 7x7x6" and up, bags, delis, heat packs, cold packs, etc.

Aside from the bulk packs of supplies that Superior offers, we are also offering 5 sizes of shipping kits, which are complete, one-off packages that include everything you need to complete a single shipment. Shipping box, one bag, ziptie, one deli, heat pack AND cold pack (to suit your needs, whether reptiles or amphibians, summer or winter), all as one package, so you don't have to order 15 boxes, 100 delis, 25 bags, at a time : )

I wish you guys the best with this!I am a hobbiest who makes the occasional sale or trade, and have always wished for something like this.

Sounds like you folks are working really hard to get all your ducks in a row for the launch of this new service. :)

I'm loving the individual kits idea. Great for the very small breeder who doesn't ship much or often and doesn't have a lot of spare storage space. The shipping from Daytona is fantastic. Will you be at Tinley Park as well?

Having tried only once to ship through the *cough* other folks that did the FedEx deal and having the package refused, then not being able to get ahold of the *cough cough* gentleman my question would be this. Should we have a snake boxed and ready and have a UPS employee refuse the shipment of a snake because they aren't aware of this agreement, will there be something we can print out to show them, a contract number or a contact person inside UPS they can speak to and confirm this program?

Tis a good thought right there!

Great question !( I also had problems with that company that shall not be named)

I thought that shipyourreptiles.com was supposed to go live today. On their facebook profile and several other places it says the 16th of march. If anyone has any other info please let me know,

Thanks

nope, they had to set it back a day. they go live at 10:00 am easyern time today. they were on reptile radio saturday night explaining everything. sounds liek it's going to be great and i think they will do a better job for everyone. CONGRATS and great job on setting this up for us all, alot of us really appreciate the hard work and effort you all put into making this happen for us.

You might need to refresh your browser - mine was doing it too, because the old page was cached. It's definitely live now!

Congrats Robyn for getting this all up and running...it looks nice! I'll definitely keep an eye on things and will most likely try it out (assuming I need to ship herps) once I see that there's no serious "issues" that arise. Mainly making sure UPS doesn't give much trouble accepting that this is a legit deal and refusing to accept packages, etc.

I shipped a snake today and everything went really smooth. I did have a problem with the fraud prevention matching up my complete address with the credit card but one call to all pro shipping and they fixed the problem and my transaction went through.

Great customer service and a great price. I shipped a 10"x10"x10" 8.5 pound package overnight with signature confirmation for 45 dollars.....That is Cheap!
This will be the only way i ship from now on.

Thanks a lot www.shipyourreptiles.com for the great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited about this!!

As far as the snake kits go, is this cheaper than buying everything separately if I need a lot?

I added 30 small snake kits to my cart and it came up to $375 + $200-something for shipping o_0... I've never shipped before but with my website going live this season I definitely plan on it... what I didn't plan on was how expensive packaging would be... any suggestions?

I REALLY appreciate the shipping discount by using this service... It's so fantastic. I was ecstatic when I heard about "that other service" and I was super disappointed when it went belly up. I only see good things in store for you guys though!

Kudos, Karma, Blessings, and Best of Luck!

The site looks great. I ordered some deli cups and lids and shipping was almost $10. Not too bad I suppose, but I wouldn't pay $200 shipping for kits. IMO that's too much. :shrug01:

My snake reached its destination today without any problems. What a relief.

As far as the kits you may be better off buying the parts of the kits individually if you need several kits. I don't know if this will help with the shipping cost though.

You can also compare prices with www.superiorenterprise.com which is where all the shipping supplies come from anyways.
