    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

HI! I will be shipping geckos Wednesday. I am working out the final shipping details. I am using used (but sturdy) boxes, gladware, and newspaper. They will be shipped UPS this Wednesday.

I have a few last minute questions...

1) Do you think there is too much empty space in the gladware containers? I was thinking I might just stuff extra paper towels inside and maybe on top of the geckos.

2) Airholes in box or not? Both geckos that we received via mail have had holes. So I am thinking holes are good but some sites say they are not needed.

3) What signs are needed on the boxes? I am going to mark out most of the stuff on the boxes...like live fish, etc.

4) Do you think cool packs are needed? It is be mid 90's in Texas and they are being shipped to areas with the same temps and as low as low 70's.

Here are some pics of how I plan to ship them.

Oh My GOSH!!! You have one called George Bush?!?!?!?! :) :) :) I love it!

Sorry, I am just now in the process of getting set up with fedex for shipping so I can't help with safety... beautiful little guys you're shipping out! :)

That looks fine.

I prefer the holes on the sides but it really doesn't matter.

Tape the lids down, put them in a box with padding, mark the box with the contents, and you should be good to go.

Just remember to double check the temps of the destination before they go out.
