    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I don't know if this belongs here ! If not I'm sorry! But does anyone know of anyone in Egypt that ships snakes ? I have a buddy that wants to imports snakes from Egypt but doesn't know how! If someone knows anyone he could talk to on how to do it? Thanks
 
I don't know anyone myself, but I would think it would be similar to importing fish. Would likely be much easier to work with a transhipper who already has the necessary permits and paperwork than to apply for all that himself. Try contacting some of the retailers who sell snakes from other countries?
 
I was just reading an available list from India, and under terms and conditions it mentioned $100 CITES fee and $150 airport fee, and there would also be other charges on top of those. Not an inexpensive deal, would need to bring in a fair number of animals to be worthwhile. I've been into aquarium fish for many years, just recently gotten back into snakes, but importing any animals will be similar. Try e-mailing Tom Crutchfield in FL, he's been doing it most of his life. He should have contacts in other countries.
 
Ya I know the fees are ridiculous ! I was trying to find someone that had the permits to help him out! I have tom on my Facebook I'll give him a message and see what he says
