• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Shipping to cannada

To the best of my understanding, it is NOT legal to ship live animals to Canada, however most can be driven across the border. Ergo, if you have someone willing to pick them up that lives in Canada, you can still sell across the border, but you can't ship them.

From what i have heard and read, it would cost quite a sum to get all the paperwork inline to ship across the border. As Kat said it would be much easier to ship to someone in the US and have the person from Canada drive over to pick them up. I have a friend that lives in London Ont. he gets all of his stuff sent to me. Then on a certain day he drives over (about 2 hours each way) and picks up all his stuff and that is that. Of course there is always the wait at the border. Trust me, you get some funny looks telling border patrol that you have live snakes in your car. I am in Michigan and about an hour away from Sarnia, if i could help you out just drop me an e-mail..

This is just some of the forms that USFW require. You're looking at a 60 day wait until you'll be able to ship, and the total permit fees are around $75. That doesn't include inspection fee at the airport, and shipping costs. Hope this helps.

1) You must be a certified shipper with whoever you intend to ship with.
2)You need a import/export license from US Fish & Wildlife service.
3)You will have to export from a designated port of entry/exit. You can get that list from U.S. Fish & Wildlife service.
4) All specimens must be inspected before they are exported. CITES specimens must be accompanied by a re-export or captive bred CITES permit. You must fill out a 3177 form listing number, common names and latin names.Export boxes must meet IATA regulations.
5) Fees apply to all of this.
6)When it gets to Canada it must be inspected by Canadian wildlife officials and may need a broker/bondsman to clear the shipment depending on value.
7)Shipping is not included and is much more expensive than domestic U.S.
8)If you cross the border from U.S. to Canada and do not declare your animals...you can be prosecuted.
9)You can bring a couple of animals across if they are declared as pets that you own. You may need your receipt and possibly CITES documentation. If you are bringing any CITES I species watch OUT!
10) If you are bringing a number of animals it is considered a commercial transaction and all documentation including a valid 3177 and or CITES are needed.
Be very careful what you do. Thanks Ray G HBR
