Shipping venomous????

Never shipped or recieved venomous snakes thru delta or any other airline. What exactly are the steps to go about it? The info online is confusing. Id like to be able to ship and recieve venomous at my local delta cargo. Thx

To receive a shipment, you simply have it sent to your local airport. It can usually be picked up at the Delta Air Cargo facility (some smaller airports will have you pick it up in the actual airport facility) by presenting the Airway number and your ID (plus payment if it was shipped collect rather than prepaid).

To ship, you can call Delta Air Cargo and schedule the flight (or use their website, but its not very user-friendly). You will need to know the two airports, as well as the sender and shipper name, address, and phone number. You also need to provide the box measurements and weight. The animals need to be double-contained (e.g., double-bagged or boxed & bagged) inside of the box and the box must list the contents, along with appropriate warning labels.
