    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Shipping? Will this be ok?

Will it be ok to ship overnight in a box with styrofoam box inside . Put the beardies in pillow cases ( seperate) loosley tied with 2 24 hour heating packs? They are both a year old and around 300 grams.They will be in the box approx 15-18 hours.
Thanks for your help

Is the box styrofoam lined or a styrofoam box in a box? If that is the case, it needs to be really really snug to keep from bouncing around the regular box it is inside. Be sure to ship with more than 1 heat pack, 1 at the bottom so the heat rises. Make sure they are shipped for NEXT MORNING arrival, never usps express, or overnight for afternoon arrival. Also, what I do is when I ship the orders out, I go to the UPS store right before they close so I save many hours of them sitting in the store in the box. But if packed correctly that is not needed. Take care...

Be sure to add packing around the pillow cases so the beardies aren't able to move around too much, as well. Shredded paper works great.

My only concern, only using 24 hour heat packs, is that the SCHEDULED amount of time they will be in transit is less than 24 hours, but what if there is a delay? Especially depending on what part of the country you are shipping them to, there is some pretty volatile weather going on in different places now, with every possibility of flights being cancelled, etc. If they end up sitting in an unheated cargo area for an extra day, are they going to freeze? Better off using the proper 40 hour heat packs.....always better safe than sorry, especially when dealing with live critters.
