    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Show off your cages!

hahaha, your mom must have shown around pix of you with your discolored little mouth :p
I needed to edit this because I'm sitting here thinking of how everything has changed in the last 20 years. Back then, when your kid chewed on something that discolored his or her mouth we would laugh and take a picture. Now, parents freak out. No wonder we have so many neuroses.
I miss flying round the back seat with my brother and sisters in a car with no seatbelts as Dad did wheelies in the snow covered K-Mart parking lot with Mom white knuckling the dashboard beside him...

Awesome Cages! Some of those gave me ideas for mine I am currently "remodeling" my two cages and I am working on getting some more chameleons and I will have to post some pics of mine.

Question for everyone: where can you buy plastic-covered fencing for the sides? A friend of mine has graciously agreed to build the frame for me and I read here last year that the best walls were plastic-covered wire with mesh large enough that my cham can wrap his toes around and release easily. But we're both having problems finding it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The wire coated in a green vinyl can usually be found at your local Home Depot or Lowes in the fencing section.

a little late...

I know it's a little late but check out this montane species enclosure I made out of a 55 gal aquarium

Great setup. What are you keeping in there? How many? its huge!

Right now I just have one pair of C. werneri in there. This cage is new and still in the "trial" period to make sure that it works for them. So far everything is going well.
