In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Show Promoters...let's help Fauna!

If it's all the same to you, Rich I am going to print my own.

I have all this printing stuff just sitting here gathering dust so I may as well use it.

If anyone would like an A4 size poster (13" x 19") let me know and I'll check on postage (it would be rolled in a tube). My laminator died, but you should be able to get that done relatively cheap at Kinkos or Staples.

Sure, that is OK with me. Matter of fact I used to print up my own fliers and stuff, but when push came to shove, for quantity printing it was much cheaper to have a professional printer do it.

Rich,
If you can get some to me no later than the 30th of this month, I will be glad to put them in our VIP totes and dispaly the rest on the information table. Any left over will be given out at the up coming shows.

I have all this stuff I got when my Father passed (he LOVED that stuff) and I was going to start a small printing business with it (maybe), but I couldn't compete on volume printing with the "big" guys. For my needs and the occasion person I know who needs business cards or posters printed, it works well.

Basically anything around 1000 and I'm golden. I just can't see you paying for something I can do for myself without you having to ship them...you've got enough to do without worrying about me!

With my printer, it costs $45 per 1000 b&w, $450 per 1000 color...hell of a difference LOL. Let me look around though, I should be able to find a cheaper place to do color, like maybe Staples or something...

I just got a price quote from my local printer (Gandy Printers in Tallahassee, FL) and they can print me up 10,000 color copies of that flier for $532. That sounds about what I was expecting to have to pay.

I'm going to get this started........

Thanks,

Rich Z.

not sure if anyone is aware but mailboxes ext.. also can print out for you and usually are very decent on prices for large orders.

hey rich, I just printed off about 100 and I'll pass them out at the Hamburg PA show tomorrow..

OK, thanks! I have to run by the printers on Monday to check the proof before they will start the print run on the fliers. When I get them, I will post a thread or two about how to request a batch of fliers to be distributed.

Thanks everyone....
