In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Showing off some of our enclosures...

Just wanted to share some pics of our enclosures and stuff...Here we go!

First picture once again, i find it sooo funny to have a leopard gecko in a hamster igloo.

Second Picture They stay in 12qts, by themselves obviously. You can see the dry hide, which is a small hamster igloo, the moist hide, which are glad sandwich containers, and then the water dish, the calcium dish and the mealworm dish! You can even see a small bit of the blizzard that lives there :)

Third Picture is another snap shot of the 12 qt enclosures. This is home to my red stripe female, Gwen. You can see her sticking her head out of her igloo. TOO FUNNY.

4th picture, again...way too funny!

And also Joe, the watch cat that loves geckos! Our pet, Asia the black rough neck monitor. She is captive Creations mascot :) And lastly for Jeanne, our Pit bull Casper ;)

Ohh, in the bad bad picture of me, you can also see i am checking for ovulating in one of my females. How intresting eh! ;) lol

Joe (and his sister java...get it? aha.. ;) ) Both love the geckos...they will lay there with them and then try to groom them which doesn't go over too well lol. But in that picture he does seem to be looking at our bookshelf of herp books out of curiousity.

confusion? haha very nice. thats wha ti hope my room will look like within a few years. except my favorite monitor is the ackies but what ever floats your boat. nice pitt. what kinds of ball pythons do you have, any albinos or pieds?

Here's one of mine right now, my female high yellow and bell albino are in there, although you have to look a little harder for the bell, she's in one of the humid hides and the only reason Marian is in a posing mood is because it's feeding time (hence the crickets).

According to an article that i read it can be harmful to your gecko. It grows a fungus type of mold that can be inhalde and harm them. I kept mine on it for a year before i read this without any problems, but why risk it. Now i only use spagnum moss. It is supposed to be safe. Also it is cheaper.

I like your set up Tonya. I am curious about the cage carpet. I have heard that they can get their claws stuck in the fibers. Has this ever been a problem, and do they have all their toes?

never had a problem with toes so far, but they do catch their teeth when they catch crickets...I'm debating what I want to replace it with...but it'll do until I have the cabinet project done

OFFTOPIC: Sorry i overlooked the ball python post. We have het albinos, and looking to get into a pied male with het pied females this season. As far as gems we have so far we have 2 pastels, 2 het orange ghosts, 2 het albinos and we are expecting a spider female in a breeding loan :)
