    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would figure wes would be one of the top posters. It's his right since the attack was aimed at him from the first post.

I can't point the finger at Jim, but I have thought since the start it was a disgruntled member who doesn't want to chance his idenity, and chose to speak out in a cowardly fasion. Hard to have respect for someone like that.

If bothers anyone that its here, then let others have their bothers as well ! No one assigned Wes any more "power" than anyone else has here, and whatever it is or isn't, its not the abilities we have, but how we use them. Having the ability to all be a$$holes does not mean we all hope to see a forum full of a$$holes. The stupidity levels can stay high here, and pollute many threads, or those that collectively contribute to it can collectively lower it.

How do you get that big head through the door? Too bad there seems to be a rather large void in there for you not to see that you are nothing more than a tool. The same can probably be said for you Lucille. If memory serves me correctly, you have a thread similar to this one dedicated to you. While I did not support that one, I actually enjoy a lot of your posts, I also don't support this thread. Do you know why? Let me share a quote that I took the liberty of changing a bit.....

With the exception of one consensus entity in this thread, I believe that the overwhelming majority of posts and posters in this thread, to include those that were a bit surly, are within the theme of wanting to influence more civility elswhere in Fauna.

Its always been a never ending game. If some improvements are forthcoming, some may see that as a "win". Others just improvements :thumbsup: ! As the other quote goes "Nothing stays the same. It either gets better or it gets worse". There are no losers in trying to make things better. That's not sad.

Because I see the alternative as being common sense. It's looking you and others square in the eye. However, due to peoples desire to "beat a dead horse" and for those who want to somehow climb the proverbial Fauna ladder, they are choosing to ignore it.

Do you honestly believe that harping on Wes is going to bring out anything positive? Is allowing one of "Fauna's finest" to pose under an alias going to accomplish anything?

People are who they are and nothing you and I do will change that. Period. Chamco is a prime example of this. Before the WWW rules went into effect, Chamco maintain a certain decorum in the threads. When the WWW rules started, his mouth spewed some of the most vile comments, sexual innuendo's etc that I have seen on this board. Now, due to whatever reason, and thankfully of course, he has decided to resume some civility. The wind blew and Chamco changed. Just like it is in life. With some time and in the right situation, the obnoxious Chamco will resurface, even if for a short while.

My point is nothing negative towards Chamco. However, it does speak volumes about who we are. That IS who Chamco is, both now as well as in the future. This IS who Wes is, both now and in the future. This IS who Bob Woodard, who Lucille is etc etc etc. We are NOT going to change due to anything that occurs in this little world that we have created for ourselves.

Thus, back to my main point. If, Rich wants to reinstitute the old rules so that we can experience a "forced attitude check point" then so be it. Even that won't change who we all really are.
