Nope, not at all. My first "summary" of what I thought of this thread was post #160. Since then, here are the parts that stood out for me:Being kind of selective, are we not Terese ? Seems you have an axe or two to grind, eh ?
At this point, I think I have milked it for all that I can, trying to goad Bob and others. Bob as tucked tale and run.
YOU, Jim Flaherty, decided that the term hypocrite was not fitting and that you were steadfast in your behavior and would not bow down to the changing winds and thereby change your own demeanor. I sought out to prove otherwise.
Are you saying you are hurting people here just for pleasure?
But why would I want to be the rain on the parade and stop the entertainment value of this thread? What harm has Shrillomn actually done?
Hmmm...why DID my husband stop coming here and posting? Do you remember, Lucille? I think you just might...Terese, you have to stop calling me. Your husband just wouldn't understand....

You SURE tried though didn't you?lucille said:Wesley, from what you told me, after your ex left you, you couldn't find anyone. Really, if you would get off the computer and go out, you might find someone like you.
Wes, in regard to this partial quote. Speaking for myself, I am not complaining about what is being pushed, pulled, spilled or exposed here. Simply making some observations concerning the human condition. To post in this thread does not automatically, on its own, describe one as having a complaint.Wilomn said:.........
There are a few complaining about shrilly, to paraphrase, pulling strings and pushing buttons. IF that IS the case, why are YOU posting on this thread?
Interesing line of reasoning, neh?
This is pretty laughable, so there is no point in defending what is hogwash. She who speaks so loudly might want to look in the mirror before speaking.lucille said:Wes, judging by your reaction, I must have hit a nerve, and I feel bad for you.
You told me often that you had no life. You are a tired, lonely old man. I actually do hope that you find someone to share your life with.
I think your meanness on this board, the way you can't wait to hurt people when they post, must be a substitute for the relationship you seek.
I hope the new year brings you someone. It will make you happy, and it will make the many on this board that you constantly belittle happy also.

Standards Woman, standards. As there are those with whom I would not drink with there are MOST ASSUREDLY those with whom ANY sort of intimacy is not EVEN a pipe dream, no matter what they smoke.SoulSmilen said:This is pretty laughable, so there is no point in defending what is hogwash. However, since we're slinging mud... for your sake, Lucille, hopefully whatever woman ends up with Wes will be agreeable to a ménage à trois; maybe you could get your chance with him, afterall...?![]()
Go on and dream, Darlin; we all have to have something to live for.![]()

Wilomn said:I know there are a lot of opinions about people out there.
I am very curious though about whether or not anyone is truly surprised by anything that anyone has said on this thread.
Deep down, is what is here what you expected, perhaps hoping never to see yet having that feeling deep down that it was the actual true essense, the true persona of those who have "opened up" in this thread.
I'm not really surprised by anything anyone has done but I don't have that rosy outlook that Harold was robbed of.
It is one thing to clinically discuss how people act, what they will do to make themselves either look good or less bad, how opinions of some change depending on which way the wind is blowing and who is blowing that wind, whether or not the truth, or ones actual perception of the truth is important and adhered to or just used as a soapbox, a platform to make assertions which in the next thread will be diametrically opposed by those standing on that little wooden box this time, and quite another to see, first hand and in person, all those thoughts and suppositions and what ifs brought right out into real life.
No one has come out of this without having some sort of change in them, I think, but I am curious about whether or not any are actually, truly, surprised by what has been written in this thread.
